Summer nails studio

"DO NOT GO HERE I was referred to this salon by a friend. My first experience was great. Acrylic full set and pedicure lasted almost a month. Second experience, pedicure was good but infills were shaped poorly and breaking within a week. Last experience, started with pedicure, as the lady was removing my colour I felt it was a bit painful. The lady commented “your nails very thin” which I responded with “yes I can feel it, that’s weird it’s never been an issue before” As she got to my big toe, we could see there was discolouration and looks to be a fungal infection which we both reacted to. The lady said “oh where did you go last time, that’s fungus” I responded with “I came here” She said “oh maybe you’ve kicked something, it looks bruised. Same with my other foot. She proceeded to “clean out” the fungus and put the tools back in their place. Telling me at the end to get a treatment from the chemist. She also proceeded to try to paint my toenails - which makes me think, how many bottles of polish have been used on infections and continued to be used on both hands and feet of others? I have now had to cut both my big toenails almost completely off. They were both basically detached down to the nail bed and full of fungus under neath. It will take me atleast a couple of months to have this issue cleaned up and my nails regrown. I found it disgusting that initially the lady tried to blame another salon but when I said the work was done there, she blamed me kicking something."

"Had my acrylic nails for the first time today! I was hesitant at first as I always have my real long nails done but need to trim them really short as some were broken! The staff assured me that it would be fine and would grow back normally. But right after she gets my nails done, it was lovely and Im soo loving it!"

"Needed to find a new nail salon close to home having just moved to strathfield. Decided to visit this studio and was pleasantly surprised. They’re quite busy but they try and be as efficient as possible. SNS nails done well, great shape, and no cracks 3 days later! Quite happy and will now be a regular :)"

"Service had been great and smooth until the apprentice who was doing my nails cut my skin while trimming my cuticles which led to a small wound. I asked her to be more gentle which she did which was a good thing. I then told her boss about the cut but got told that it was a NORMAL OCCUPATIONAL ACCIDENT THAT HAPPENS TO EVERYONE AND IT’S NO BIG DEAL! I’m happy with the looks of my manicure and pedicure but would never revisit and recommend to anyone due to the risk of infection caused by the carelessness of the junior and senior staff."

"I am taking a day off from work, as I have a friend's wedding tomorrow. I thought - l should spoil myself a bit today. I chose this place as it had fifteen 5-star reviews. I thought: what can go wrong? In my opinion, it is NOT a 5-star place. I paid 75 dollars, and I feel ripped off. The coat was uneven; my fingers were glued to my skin until I asked to fix it. The finishes are sloppy. I plan to redo them last minute. I am genuinely disappointed. The staff was friendly and said they could "fix it", but the truth is they should be redone, in my opinion. Well, lesson's learned - never go to a new place when you have an important event the next day. Just stick to the word-of-mouth places."
