"We come to the Prince Patrick regularly before the footy. They are used to the footy crowd so are great at getting food out quickly. The staff are super friendly and the space is warm and inviting. For those who love a parma but not the size, you can order a half parma!"
"Was there 2 weeks ago for the first time when I was on a short trip to Melb at around 330pm, quiet and chill. Imran who worked at the bar was great to chat with, so was the gentleman (who was working on his laptop) and a lady; both whom I assume are the owners. Seems like this place was just newly renovated. By the time it was probably 6pm, wow the crowd came in droves. Will definitely visit again when I'm in the area."
"Having been here before and had the best roast in Melbourne at a reasonable price I came again from the other side of town and brought friends. I called before to check roast was still being served. Was advised it normally sells out by 3pm. Arrived at 2.30 to find out there was no more roasts left and I could have pre ordered the food on the phone. This was not relayed on the phone call and the bar service was unfriendly by the staff member who was unwelcoming. I came back a few weeks later because the roast is so god damn amazing. Got there for midday and the roast was as above…. Amazing. Had a friend with me who is GF, he said the Parma was one of the best he has had. He would love to have had a roast but the amazing Cauliflower cheese has gluten. Mr chef can u change that? So the GF people can enjoy the incredible roast and its trimmings? Service was great too…….. redeemed……coming back. Thank you!!!!!!!"
"Absolutely blown away. Never have I been to a more welcoming or friendly pub in my life (and fair to say I've been to a few). This place gives definition to the age old phrase "the local". The staff are not just incredibly friendly, but knowledgeable and accomodating for whatever you might need. The food is fantastic (the steak sandwich is one of the best I've ever had), well priced, with plenty of variety as well. They also have a fantastic range of beers that are unbelievably priced (not many places you can get a pint for $10 anymore), with a seriously well thought-out wine list to boot. This sounds like a bit of a rant and a rave, but this pub is one of the rare ones that does make you truely feel at home. Will be a return customer for many years to come! Oh and they also have a dart board!"
"Nice atmosphere Good service The Chicken schnitzel ($15) was generally good. It did NOT come with any siding so you had to add salad or gravy for separate costs. this added to a total of $24, which is pretty expensive. The 3 stars is for the poor value for the money"
