"Ive been going here on and off since 2019 discovering it thanks to a student who was working there. Im male and my hair grows super quickly so i need regular cuts every 5 months minimum or it'll reach my shoulder area so i try go monthly for haircuts in general. She asked me to go a few times and im glad i eventually did because the price is absolutely hands down the cheapest in Melbourne and they do a great job. They are friendly staff if you ever want to save a few dollars and get just as good of a cut then i highly recommend Golden Comb Hair Design as the place to go for you."

"My sister and I really disappoint with the service. I don't know if they were short staffed or what but I was forced dry my hair by myself. My sister has her permanent hair straightening done but because of too many customer, she waited for her turn with the strong chemical in her hair for literally three hours and now her scalp are super dry and flaky which never happen in her life. They were supposed to put the second cream as well but it was closing time so they don't bother to put the second one too. And her hair is wavy in her third day already. I didn't expect this service from them. We are not going back ever again and not recommend other people too."

"I came here twice for colouring. Whenever i came the girls in the shop always did an amazing jobs. My hair bleach twice and it was not as damaged as expecting. The colour always come out amazing. Look smooth, soft and and has nice tone to it. Price was reasonable, not too expensive. I strongly recommend the salon."

"I have visited this salon for over seven years now. I am welcomed with a smile. Yes I my not speak their first language but I speak their second English. I have my blonde hair kept in regrowth colour, cut and curled. Before covid I have had my nailed done but not after as I have removed them. I have used the upstyle service for two weddings and Oaks day also.the style held and was commented on. I love to watch the haircuts go on whist my colour does set, it amazing to see the difference when care is taken to obtain the desired outcome is taken. Often people have shown photos of Google of how they want the style to look. I have not seen unhappy clients leave. Today the ladies cut two children hair that was just so thick and tangles. The Mother was overjoyed in leaving as now she is able to manage it on a day to day basis. Once in all my time my colour struggled and I was not happy a day or two later. I stopped back in, did not even speak and the ladies said sit down we need to fix that. It was late after my work shift and they remained until adjusted. I could not have asked for more.
