"Used to really like this sushi place due to quality and affordability of their sushi’s and skewers. However, today, I went to buy 4 hand rolls which costed me 14.80$ and I handed the cashier 25$ (20 cash and 2 x 2$ coins and 2x 50c = $25 in total) in the expectation of getting my full change back, but instead, the cashier only handed to 10c in which I was very confused and kindly told her that I gave her the amount written. To my surprise her response was very unfriendly and saying that ‘you gave me 10$ note’. I proceeded to ask whether the camera can be rewinded to which her response was ‘you gave me 10$ note’, not even offering what I had asked. This made me feel very disrespected which I have never expected. It was not about the money, it was her poor customer service/communication and her unwillingness to prove her action was right or wrong. I am only writing from my customer service experience here, whereas the food quality and affordability is still very good."

They can order sushi online with big parties, and pick up within 2 hours. Just 10 more steps you will reach sushi sushi and sushi shiro. You also don’t have the benefits of location. The only benefit you really do have is price. Being a single shop, sushi sushi and sushi shiro is franchise and they must follow the same price. While sushi shien has the flexibility to adjust the price whenever they want. And recently, the price increase in sushi shien has gave up their biggest competitive factor. If you are buying a sushi row for $3.7 and other sushi shops for $4. Then you will lose price sensitive customers. The question is, is it worth to buy from sushi shien if you just pay a few cents to get something better"
