I would like to say a massive thank you to our trainer Jess who developed our 4 y/o GSD x Kelpie over a 21-day Board and Train program. Our girl is now back home with us, and she is a much better version of herself. Kiera is a much calmer dog inside the house, she walks on a loose leash, has far better recall and can think more clearly around distractions when doing training sessions. I am excited to continue developing her skills and I know I can reach out to Jess or any of the other trainers if I ever needed help. Their knowledge is second to none."

"My experience with Homestead has been more than fantastic. I have a 12 yr cavvy with pre-existing medical issues and special needs. Before I boarded him, I requested a tour around the facility. Alaina was able to book that in for me in a speedy manner the next day. The tour was very informative and it was great seeing all the pups happy and content. Lucky stayed in a total of 8 days and had a fantastic time. I opted in the my pet space add on, which they will update on your pup’s daily behaviours and send photos/videos through to your account on their website. Furthermore, I mistakenly miscounted my cavvy’s medication, Homestead went above and beyond to ordered more meds from my vet, and picked at no extra cost (40min drive), which I am extremely grateful for. Thank you very much for the team at Homestead Pet Retreat! I will most definitely be back in the future when I need to board my dogs again :)"

"What a great experienced for our twos dogs. Enrolled 21 day’s training and couldn’t be any happier! Came home with more calm, less bark and walking on leash so smoothly and much better than before. Definitely less stress and If we plan for holiday next time we will book a boarding at Homestead retreats for sure. I mean because we can see that all trainers are taking a good care of our fur baby. "Despite our best efforts, we needed some help training our Beagle and Homesteads board and train program was the perfect solution. Before training Timmy used to listen to his nose as a Beagle does but his leash pulling and stubborn nature became so dangerous that we had to stop walking him. After training he is calmer, well mannered and walks successfully on a loose leash. He even lifts his nose off the ground to ask permission to enter through doorways or staircases! Working with his trainer Peter, has helped us understand when its ok to let Beagles be Beagles and when its time for Timmy to follow his obedience training. We will continue with Timmy's education and would definitely send Timmy back to homestead to keep refining his skills in future. Peter did a great job helping to improve our relationship with Timmy beyond our expectations."
