Reviews of Central Coast Veterinary Centre
"Gentle, approachable staff members who took the time to discuss medical needs of our pet."
"Been taking my pets here for the last 7 years. First to the Wyong practice & now to the Wyoming practice. Very caring vet & assistants. My dog had to have his crucial ligament operated on & the cost was quite reasonable. I would recommend to anyone looking for a vet in either Wyong or Wyoming areas."
"Our dog had a seemingly minor issue, $500+ and 2 visits later aswell as having to chase up test results and they still can't give us a straight answer, they overload us on random information irrelevant to us and then give 3-4 options of what we can do and then wait for us to answer? Like we're vets and know how to treat issues. Every conversation is "it could be this, it might be that", "we could try this we could try that". A waste of time and money, couldn't get any answers of what's wrong or how to PROPERLY treat it. But hey we know there are 15 types of bacteria and some are harmful and might be what our boy had .... I understand animals and their health can be complex but this is ridiculous. No confidence in them at all, we won't be back."
"I've been taking here my two cats for over seven years. Because, the lady vet who was very kind to me. However, was totally disappinted Today. My 6years old cat had dental care at here two weeks ago. My cat had nothing any health issue.but, tear keep falling in one eye. I found the black lines on the eyelids. I booked and came here to get the cause and treatment. I had couldn't get any results anything was wrong. I don't even know who examined my cat. They didn't even tell me the results of the tears problem and black lines. They don't even know what's wrong. I asked them to write it down for me. ( I couldn't understand their English and the extra charges for what?...) However, he asked me" what medicine you want?" (I am not vet .. I don't know what kind medicine for stop tear and treat.) They tell me charge more if, I get consultations for out come. He is not knowledgeable vet. I felt like they had taken only my money and I think it got hurt my cat. The worst experience I 've ever had , the cost is not reasonably priced. I need to find another good Vet."
"Vet was reasonably priced and went to them because I had heard they were good with bunnies. Spent over $1000 there on my rabbit however I live in Newcastle. My rabbit was looking unwell and due to the distance and work commitments I was unable to get my rabbit to them quickly so I asked them to pass on the vet records to a vet in Newcastle so he could have a review to check he was okay. After that it seems I am now blacklisted from that vet. As I tried to get an appointment with them and I was told they were busy with their own rabbits and to try another vet. It seems if you go to another vet for whatever reason they don’t welcome you back. Very poor customer service. I feel that if they genuinely cared about their animals it wouldn’t matter to them if you had gone to get some medication from another vet. Clearly these vets are more concerned with their ego than the animals health. Luckily I was able to find a more experienced vet who was not concerned as to where my rabbit had been treated previously. There are better vets out there, that charge less and care more. Plus the vet clinic is not well lit or particularly well presented and the front desk does not have email, so therefore have to fax anything on."
