"The fact that “haircut” is not even listed as a service sums up modern hairdressers. Luckily, John is not only a great conversationalist, but (and I guess that’s more important) extremely experienced and skilled - not a fancy modern gadget in sight when fixing yours truly’s hair, which sadly had been butchered by a couple of “hair designers”. To say I am a satisfied customer would be a massive understatement. I am sure Miles Wilson cater for all requests (and no doubt will do a great job with whatever your heart’s desire might be) but if you are a plain Jane like me and just get a quality cut, do yourselves a favour and go there."

"Virginia is fantastic! Last night I had an event and popped in (for the first time but not the last) to get my hair styled in my lunch break and asked for a curly wavy style. I walked out with the hugest hair I'd ever had but Virginia assured me that the curls would drop by the evening. They did. And it was even better than I had imagined. I loved it! I have been to several hairdressers over the years to have a similar style done for an event and no one has ever made it look as good as Virginia. Will most definitely go back."

"After 5 years of loyalty, glowing social media testimonials and referrals to friends and family, a customer care issue drew the line for me with Miles Wilson Hairdressing. My stylist mixed the wrong colour. That's ok. People make mistakes. But rather than admit it, put it aside and mix the right one, I she proceeded to apply the colour. The result was bright ginger roots on dark hair. Seeing I was considerably alarmed at the result, the stylist tried her very best to reassure, suggesting ".. it might settle. See how you go." It didn’t settle. I returned when my hectic schedule allowed and got charged, not only for the colour correction (due to 3 weeks of regrowth), but also for the bodgy blow dry at the hands of another stylist. Appalling customer care and an insult to my loyalty as a customer. An integrity issue that's very disappointing indeed."
