Cutting Crew

"I am an easy cut, straight below shoulder hair, no curl no colour , no bangs. Just need a length trim and some long layers to lighten the dresses. A disaster. Hairdresser pulled and tugged, caught comb on Cape neck cuff, every single down stroke. Watch band scrapped against my ear. She combed my earring numerous times. Didn't know how to layer. Hair uneven, and worst of all blunt scissor raggered into my hair. No chip cheerful option here. Shocking save yourself now"

"Haven't frequented in years. Didn't answer my repeated phone calls so I went elsewhere. Used to do good, cheap cuts but no idea now..."

"Went in for a trim following a perm. I advised the hairdresser that I only wanted a trim and wanted my hair long enough to blow wave and curl with a brush. As you can see from the pictures, the hairdresser has butchered my hair. It is virtually a crew cut and I cannot style my hair at all. When I approached the hairdresser about my hair, she told me that it would "grow back" and that I was ruining her hairdressing career! She showed no professionalism and I have paid $40 to have my hair destroyed! I feel incredibly embarrassed about the state of my hair and I have to live with this until it eventually grows back. I will never have my hair cut here again and will be telling all my friends to steer clear of the Cutting Crew."

"Went here recently and it was terrible. The only reason I am giving it 1 star is because it is impossible for 0. Person cutting my hair didn't listen to what I wanted, which made the top of my head too short, and they butchered my hairline. My friend also got a haircut with me, and they didn't use the clippers on the back of his head correctly, now he has patches of longer hair on his head. Overpriced completely. Please do not go here if you don't want to be disappointed. Any positive review is a bot."

"Asked for about 20cm/4" off and showed her with my fingers. I said I still want to plait it and wear it on top of my head. I showed her with my fingers. I said I didn't want a blunt cut but a small amount of feathering, approx an inch and again showed her with my fingers. So she chopped it off after washing and proceeded to put an oil or something on the ends. I asked her if she was still going to do the feathering( because surely the oil should be put on last or it would be cut out)and again showed her the length of feathering wanted of an inch and she smiled and said yes. She then put a mirror behind me for a few seconds then magician like whipped off the plastic wrap. I was shocked. I could barely function. If I had opened my mouth I would have spluttered. After leaving and calming down I returned and said about the softening and I had specifically said no blunt cut. I really should have left it at that but she insisted on doing the feathering so I now not only have 40cm missing when I'd only wanted 10cm but also have a chunk out of my hair. I tried to give accurate instructions for what I wanted and not only told her but showed her how much I wanted off by using my hand. There was no way she could have been confused about the amount as my fingers couldn't open much further than 10cm. I am still so angry as it has taken 10-15years to grow it this long. Even an apology might help but there was nothing.They say you get what you pay for but surely the hairdresser needs to be able to function as a hairdresser, and $50 for 20mins isn't my idea of cheap. I seriously wondered if she was licsensed. No, I do not recommend this place."
