"Dr Sam and his team at Southern Cross Vets are simply outstanding and I couldn't recommend them more!! (For context: we had been taking our Corgi puppy, Wallace, to a different Veterinary hospital that was in closer proximity to our home and when Wallace became very unwell with a nasty tummy bug, after multiple trips to this Vet, we felt very much in the dark, disillusioned by the service and a team who dismissed our concerns without in depth investigation, and charging exorbitant fees with no outcome.) Dr Sam and Southern Cross Vet have been the opposite in every way possible: the kindness, care, expertise and communication have been a breath of fresh air, and within 12 hours of our initial video consult with Dr Sam on a Monday morning, Wallace was being treated and we were armed with the information we needed to help him make a full recovery. Wallace also received his test results back within 18 hours and we were able to collect more medication from the St Peters clinic - although in the future, I will make use of the fabulous concierge service! Wallace is now the happiest little pup, and we are over the moon that he is on the road to recovery. The follow-up/ check-in messages from Dr Sam throughout the days after were also so so lovely; coming from the country NSW, it has felt like warm country hospitality in the middle of the Sydney, which is very uncommon. To say we are grateful and pleased to have found Southern Cross Vets is an understatement. I will be shouting their praise throughout Balmain and Rozelle in the hope more people with young pups will be able to experience this unrivalled level of service from the moment they bring their puppy home (see sweet photo of little Wallace in the safe hands of Southern Cross Vets). I think the moral of the story is don't always settle for a Vet that is more conveniently located; the extra minutes spent driving a little further away are instantly refunded in the health of your pet and the wealth of knowledge that comes from great service!"
