"In response to Jamie Mays comments in His Google Review I was the older gentleman who he claims the operators of the Business Abadel Barber gave me preference in front of him This is simply not true and Jamie you are very unfair in dealing with the wonderful Father & Son operators of the Barber who I have been a customer of since they first open and I actually followed Souhail from another barber shop Jsmie please a few points to clarify 1 I was ahead of you and waiting outside in the coffe shop tables 2 You fail to mention I was also in a Walikng Frame which is easier for me and the business if I wait outside 3 I always ring the Barbers before I arrive due to my limited mobility and do not expect special treatment for my disability 4 I have been on incapacitated since a bad accident in March 2022 and wherever I go people are so compassionate and you are the first person I have found so selfish and inconsiderate I recall exactly the day and the incident and am fully aware you would have noticed my walking frame as I park it in the shop Along with the poor mobility I am also in constant pain due to the multiple operations I have had to endure Most importantly I cannot believe you would be so unkind to Souhail & Abadel who are not just great barbers but wonderful human beings and your review has now affected their business I am free anytime you wish to discuss your inaccurate account of the Incident & The Business at The Barbers Or you can simply retract your incorrect prejudice account of handicap people who don't ask for special treatment but simply do not want to burden others with our headicap either way you have done this business a great injustice and have made me feel even more polarised in The Edgecliff shopping centre where people make me feel so welcome Please retract this review or at least meet with me at the barbers to back up your incorrect review I finish by noting Abadel Barbers are the best barbers who I happily use several times a week and they make me feel. Very comfortable and not as a handicap person You could tak me lessons in humanity from them"

"I have had my hair cuts at Abadel for 3 years (since opening). I had a really good relationship with the owner and his father, until one day. Abadel does not take bookings (I have tried to book before). However, I arrived second in queue, after half an hour I was next to be served. Just before the person in front of me finished up, an older man walked in and the owners father came to me and said that the man had a booking (although it is walk in only). I explained I had somewhere to be so I could not wait. I left without causing a scene. He told me they do take bookings that’s why the man got to skip ahead of me. I went home and as a test I called to book the next day, they told me it was a walk in barber only. It seems they simply prioritised this man. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Have advised my friends to not return and I will definitely not be returning. No loyalty and shameful."

"You'll really benefit from a top notch haircut at Abadel's. Was wildly pleased with a stylish and summer-suitable cut after the pandemic lockdown. Walked out ten years younger! Fabulous decor and friendly, personal staff. A precision haircut at a most highly recommended barber. I think I'll go every month just for the best hair experience in town!"
