Its name pays homage to the family that once resided and operated a business there, known as Martins Corner.
Formerly known as Blue Mini Cafe, The Corner Cafe & Catering has been serving locals and visitors alike since 2006. The Blue Mini Cafe has since relocated to a larger space at Colchester road, transforming a former 10-pin bowling alley into a vibrant eatery. From this transition, The Corner Cafe was born, offering a new and unique dining experience.

"3.4 out of 5. We fancied a coffee after a Bunnings trip. Accordingly, we stopped for a spell at this clean and homely cafe situated on a corner just across from the beach. The location thereby explains the name. It’s spacious cafe with three different seating areas including a large outdoor area at the front. The pre prepared foccacias and snacks here looked good. The meals coming out looked pretty good as well. The coffees were nice albeit served in fairly small cups. Service was certainly pleasant if a little languid as the coffee took some time to come out. No matter. Zen is the order of the day. I’d happily return here at some yet to be determined stage."
