Brooklands Apartments,

"We have just arrived home tonight after a 2-night stay at Brooklands Apartments, Healesville. This (Western apartment) is a beautifully appointed 1 bedroom apartment, with a very large bathroom, huge shower, (lovely toiletries), a large bedroom with a king bed (way comfy, beautiful linen, should I stay or go wine tasting. OK, wine tasting for a wee while) and a very comfortable lounge area with kitchen facilities. (Microwave, drawer dishwasher, fridge with small freezer area (large enough for us to store a number of esky gel packs), cutlery, crockery, glassware & Nespresso machine. Everything about this property is modern. NB : please read both sides of the card on the lounge room table when you arrive. As we checked out today, we found out that there was a steam shower. (nooooo, we didn't get to try) There is a little bit of a climb up the driveway and up the flight of stairs, so this is likely to be unsuitable for people with significant mobility issues. Off street parking is for a vehicle in a specified area, which ensures that access to others is not denied. The apartment is set back 1 block from "downtown" Healesville, it is incredibly quiet and because of the level of privacy, we felt comfortable sitting in the lounge area without the need to draw blinds. Our hosts are unlikely to recommend this, however it felt like 1 of those areas that you could comfortably not lock the front door. There are at least 2 apartments available, we simply had exposure to the western apartment. There are multiple, cafe's, bars, restaurants, within walking distance and a large number of wineries within a 15 minute drive. Would we come back. Well, the answer is yes and as we flew back today, we were trying to work out what those dates might be. Thank you to all the Brooklands team that made our stay such a wonderful time. "We booked both apartments out for our wedding preparations in the morning and it was the perfect accommodation. The photos all look amazing with the wonderful backdrop. The large windows gave great lighting for the makeup and hair people to work their magic. The rooms themselves were spacious and comfortable and well well stocked. Could not recommend a better place in the Yarra Valley. Thanks guys!"

"My husband & I stayed 2 nights on 15 & 16 Sep in the west apartment. We think this is the best one can find in Healesville. It’s a classy, modern & new apartment. Great for couple. King size bed. Quiet & private. Big windows with nice mountain view in the living room. Great location, it’s a min walk to the main street but you don’t hear the noise of traffic at all. The 3 negatives are the steep driveway, no laundry machine & slow wifi. Overall very pleasant, more pros than cons. We will stay here again if we come to Yarra Valley."

"We had a 2 night stay in the East Apartment. It was clean, modern and nicely furnished. Great heating, especially for a Winter getaway. The bed was very comfortable. The view from the balcony was beautiful. Great location, minutes walk to all that Healesville has to offer. We will definitely be back."

"Stayed 2 nights at West Apartment, apartment was modern and very clean in a great position close to shops and eateries. Magnificent view of the mountains. Disappointed there was no Netflix or Foxtel which are generally supplied by most apartments like these today. Noise from the upstairs apartment, footsteps, talking, heating unit which turned on and off all night kept us awake. Driveway very steep and difficult to manoeuvre when reversing."
