"Post-nose piercing, I had a new stud put in. It was a lot tighter than the first one and caused lots of pain, inflammation and irritation that did not fade. The piece itself was a lot shorter and was tight against the skin on both sides of the nose (which the piercer never told me about.) When I went back to tell the piercer (waited over an hour when I was told it would only be 20 minutes) how uncomfortable the jewellery was (despite a high price for the jewellery) she said she couldn’t do anything about it. She told me to buy a new piece, declining discount, return or exchange. Absolutely ridiculous customer service and offered no remedy whatsoever. Find somewhere else."

"The staff at this place are really lovely, but the current manager doesn't seem to understand consumer law. I had highlights done to my hair on February, the girl was a trainee, but didn't get assistance from superiors while serving me. The result wasn't what I had asked for. I went back to ask what could be done, and the suggestion was I spent more money, and not a small amount. More recently, I bought a product in a rush, on advice from the manager. I didn't look carefully at the product as I was in a rush. When I came home, I realised the product wasn't exactly fit for the purpose I had explained. I tried to get a refund a few days later, and this wasn't possible. I then accepted an exchange and tried to use a voucher they had sent me. The manager asked the assistant "what does she want to use the voucher for", refused to accept their own voucher, and when I put the product I wanted to exchange on the counter, accused me of being disrespectful, and to take the item, not even exchange it, and get out of his store. The whole exchange was done in a very aggressive manner by the manager, with his assistants visibly embarrassed by the whole thing. If you get the wrong service or the wrong product, on their advice at this particular store, it's your fault, or you have to be out of pocket. If you protest this, be prepared to endure aggression from this manager and leave without a correction to your problem. I doubt my experience would be unique. Their services aren't necessarily less expensive than at proper salons, they just happen to be in a convenient spot. But I will never go back there."

"I haven't styled my hair in over 22 years but just got a chop and wanted to dive in - knowing absolutely nothing but ironing with a iron (if you know, you know...) the beautiful Elena took me on a journey of hair styling & care, giving me great advice, and I could even have a try of the suggested products to compare the basic & premium versions. I even got a tutorial on how to use the straightener to create some curls - it will look like a cubist mess when I try at home but I'm excited to practise! Can highly recommend - no dramatic sales pitches, just good advice. Gold stars for Elena!"
