"I stayed in Family room, it's 55sqm with 2 queen sized beds and couch TV kitchen like a studio and bathroom with bathtub and washing machine dryer included. TV remote never worked, and cable channels after watching for 20 min no signal at all, worked only once in 2 weeks rest all days no signal. Housekeeping services are good. ROOM stinked like anything on 1st 2 to 3 days and I used my perfume as room fresh new and also opened windows for 1st few days for the stickiness to leave. Still it stinks at the room entrance and corridor as well.Apart from stickiness the Rooms and furniture are classy. No bowls in the kitchenette to eat soups but rest all available."
"· Located close enough to the Light Rail station and easy for drivers to find for rides. Place was comfortable and reasonably quiet when you would like a rest. They had brochures available for tour options in case you had nothing planned and needed advice on things to do during your stay. · I'm not sure if its a thing with with Australia or just this location specifically but a minor gripe is the toilet paper. Its quite uncomfortable when you're not used to it. Also despite the easy way to get around, there wasn't anyone at the front desk."
"This place had a strange smell in the rooms and the shower smelt strong like it had been bleached with an old dirty mop. Woke up to a big cockroach (alive) on the bathroom sink, got moved to another room as a result. Noticed another dead cockroach in the reception area. I'm not sure if this is because we were on the ground floor, but I've never experienced this at a hotel before. It's not a terrible place to stay, it looks like the pictures and staff are nice.. although sometimes hard to contact when there's nobody at reception and the contact number goes straight to voicemail. The hotel manager did eventually return the missed calls however. Beds are comfortable, lots of powerpoints, good wardrobe space, good aircon, heater definitely helped with the cold rooms. Wouldve loved to be able to open the blinds and windows while still having privacy or even flyscreens on the windows. Conveniently located near tram and 5 min walk to Glebe point road which was helpful. It's okay for a short stay but wouldn't recommend for long as there's no stove or much kitchen utensils."
"We had room number 9 - it was very clean, fresh, contemporary, and enough room for the two of us. The a/c unit was a portable one that feeds out the window. The whole place has a very nice vibe and has been very well maintained. There's no cooking ability.l beyond a microwave."
"I stayed in this hotel on New Years Day, so the price was high for what we got but this was to be expected and doesn't effect the rating I have given. The room was pretty much what was seen on the website, no inbuilt air conditioning but this was made up by providing an evaporative cooler which did just as good a job. The major issue was regarding the parking and the quality of service, after being advised that there was parking available we arrived to be told that we would be parking on the street and would be required to move our car every 2 hours between the hours of 8am and 6pm. This had not been a public holiday this would have been very upsetting especially when the attitude and demeanour of the receptionist was very unpleasant. The other issue being the service we received, after being told that the room would be available to me between 11am-12pm through email. However, upon arrival after many hours of travelling, I was told that the room would only be ready at 1 pm which I would have been fine with if the receptionist attitude was understanding and apologetics. However we were offered no explanation for this other that we cant go in there yet. I mentioned our booking time to which he replied yea I know you wanted to be in then but its not ready, you can just wait until it is. Then again upon checkout I had to deal with his lazy attitude where we were ignored and then when asked if we could checkout he extended his hand took the key and said nothing so I left in an awkard silence. If you don't mind bone idle service and don't require a park then the stay should be passable."
