Reviews
"I can’t rate this place highly enough. The first thing that I noticed was the quality and freshness of the rice, it was perfectly cooked. The seafood is also extremely fresh. Great spot for a quick lunch, I felt like I was back in Japan!"
"Edomae is a very popular sushi train in Japanese food central, Regent Place. Overall, the sushi was pretty good though the Burwood outlet seems to have more variety. My top sushi picks were: auburi scallops, bonito, wagyu beef. Also with trying the chirashi. Limited seating so lines can be long but there's a one hour dining limit which helps."
"Edomae came highly recommended by some friends and certainly raved on google reviews as ‘best sushi’. Maybe it was the hype that left me disappointed. Sure, it was good, but it wasn’t comparable to higher end Japanese restaurants in Sydney. It was pretty average at best. There is always a long queue but we got there early so we were seated within 15 minutes. Better luck if you order takeaway. Seating is also timed. Compared to some other kaiten sushi in Sydney, it is one of the better ones so i’ve given it 4 stars instead of 3."
"Lovely tasty Japanese. A bit busy so have to wait. Sushi train and alacarte. Recommend this as fresh warm. A good variety of fish. Not your usual run of the mill tastes. We had the good side. Very attentive staff. Other side backs onto pedestrians. Recommended."
