"When I booked for flu shot here it said free for senior over 65 years old but they charged me $10 saying that it was “service” fee. And they sent me messages saying that I got $15 as a royalty customer, but when I bought medicine, they said the royalty $15 could not be used to buy medicine."
"We went for a vaccine. Three pharmacists were chatting away as I waited at the counter politely, hoping they would finish soon. Another customer approached them about vaccinations and they served him first, not even noticing me. It would be good if the staff could be more professional."
"Rude staff, the pharmacist who served me should not be able to work in customer service as clearly burnt out and not capable of dealing with people. Also I asked for them to price match a script as they proudly claim on their website, they looked it up then I left. I checked the receipt once I had left the area and realised I was given less than $2 off and not price matching. I called and asked why and they said "we can't match their prices because we do not buy in Bulk". - Well why false advertise and mislead customers. This is an area with a lot of elderly people who rely on honesty and integrity however you will not find that here. I won't ever return and will tell spread the word. Stay away unless you wish to be spoken down to and ripped off. This is my experience and I have the receipt to prove, so if you challenge or take this down, go for it. It's a shame that those of us on medications have to not only be treated rudely though are literally ripped off. I thought price matching meant just that, guess I am wrong. My Doctor agrees with me and I think I would take his word over that of a store owner who is content being dishonest. Stay away or they'll just rip you off. All staff members are nosey and rude though some of the other actual pharmacists are nice yet it is not worth the gamble of being served by this incredibly rude woman. Go elsewhere their prices are terrible, far more than non-chain pharmacies and they don't price match, when asked. They may as well add some more absurd claims and continue to flat out steal from people with dishonesty. One staff member a brunette female, Caucasian is the reason I will be boycotting this store and anyone other Blooms store's from now on. My review means little though word gets around. Treat people with no respect expect none in return. I hope she is enjoying those extra stolen dollars, you get each day from taking advantage of people and not matching prices when specifically asked. Learn to treat people with respect or find a new line of work.. or just give up. I can do without rudeness so now I go elsewhere and pharmacists love pretending they know what they are talking about. They don't, specially this lady who is unpleasant to be around and rude to put it lightly. I used to hope she would not serve me or try to go when she was not there though not to be. 0/0 score. Go elsewhere there is a friendly chemist not far away their prices are better anyway and they don't false claim like BLOOMS does, blatantly. Make sure you ask for them to price match, whether they buy in bulk or not does not matter they claim that, therefore should do so. They won't so check your receipts, then you can probably get the script cheaper at an independent pharmacist as their prices are quite high for a fairly large chain."
"This review is solely directed at the owner of the Northbridge Blooms Chemist in NSW. I am not trying to hide who I am or my name. I cannot fault other members of staff who were usually quite friendly and all pharmacists aside from the owner were exceptional at their job. I have to give a special mention to Resa! As I told Pamela and Emanuel many times, Resa is an asset to the store and the nicest most understanding pharmacist I have come across. He spoke to me as a human and with respect and for that I am grateful. Unfortunately I made the mistake of enquiring about price matching after looking at some receipts and escalated the issue. I said many times I do not want repercussions for staff as they are fantastic (with one exception). Unfortunately this part was left out and I hope that if this is read, Resa and other staff know, because I am unable to go in to the store now. I did explain and hope Resa nows I made no complaint of any sort, only mentioned rudeness from one member of staff and I stand by my words!!! My issue is with the store owner, her attitude, lack of compassion and empathy. General rudeness and being inept at her job in terms of customer service. I will add misleading advertising as prices were not matched and also marking up PBS scripts by a dollar claiming that the reason for this is Blooms is doing customers a favour by helping them reach their threshold quicker is a joke. That is an absurd claim and that is all there is to it. Also price matching is price matching, not a slight discount. It is a shame because I actually really like and respect all the other pharmacists who I dealt with. I do appreciate the professionalism in how the pharmacists (again not the owner) conducted themselves and made me feel welcome, not like a worthless drug addict. There was no judgement and I was polite and respectful as were they to me. The issue in a nutshell is that Blooms claim to price match any prescription. The fact is they do not, or very rarely do. I already had a mark on my file to say match chemist warehouse prices as it is more convenient for me. Often I would pay full price or a discount price, which defies the term ‘Price- matching’. This is not the fault of the pharmacist though the store owner. I enquired about false advertising.. This was a huge mistake as the outcome was that I was humiliated in front of other staff members and other customers in a rude manner. I was denied service and forced to take my meds I was meant to pick up the next day and told in a not-so-friendly tone that I am not welcome, to take my script and leave. Obviously I had not expected this though handled it well and said OK. I was told apparently I come in to the store and cause trouble, when all I did was enquire about the pricing policy with the head of advertising, who backed up what their claim. I never caused trouble and I was polite, patient and respectful. The only issue I caused was following up about false advertising and all that did was get me banned in a manner which was humiliating to say the least. They can’t say anything though the other pharmacists KNOW I do not go in and cause trouble. Also, even though I had a note in the system to match chemist warehouse prices, Blooms was unable to price match. I would still ask every time and more often than not I would not get an in-between price or slight discount. Price matching is exactly that. Resa - I truly apologies for any repercussions, you are someone I respect very much and I appreciate you helping me out. To the store owner: It is difficult enough dealing with MH issues, without having you talk down to me. So I hope you had a nice moment making me feel worthless, it speaks volumes about your character and how you conduct yourself and your business. I hope you felt great denying me service, making me take my meds earlier than I was meant to, forcing me to take back a script and telling me I am no longer welcome - all because I enquired about price matching, which you do not do. 1 out of 5. Due to owner of the store."
"Horrible experience due to a pharmacist (caucasion female, roughly late 40s or early 50s). They were inept at their job, rude and noticeably burnt out. No sleep lost though would strongly not recommend shopping here. It is unfair as judging off other reviews there are other pharmacists who work there who are great, however this was MY one and only experience and should have stuck to my usual pharmacy. It would appear I was served by the 1/3 pharmacist that people try to avoid, unlucky I guess."
