"I went yesterday (Thursday) at 6pm, I wanted my eyebrows to be threaded, just wanting a tidy up. There was one worker. An older Indian lady there who was behaved terribly.Very very rude and did an uneven job on my eyebrows. I’m not as upset about the eyebrows as I am about her customer service. Do better."
"One star is generous!! Went in on Thursday afternoon, asked for my daughters eyebrows to be waxed, she applied too much wax and it dripped onto my daughters eyelashes, failed at trying to remove the wax, took out chunks of her bottom and top lashes. Irritated her under eye skin also!! Absolutely horrendous!!!"
"I asked the eyebrow technician to "clean up" my eyebrows, only taking off the sparse hairs around my current shape. I also asked her to only use wax. She ended up taking a lot of my eyebrow off and giving it a completely new shape. She also used thread without warning me and I felt extremely uncomfortable. When I bought to her attention that she has given my eyebrows a new shape and did not complete what I wanted, she said well this looks better (there was still residue of wax on my eyebrows as well). I told her nicely that this is not what I wanted again and that I was very sad but she said again that this looks better, making me feel invalidated. I left very upset and she could tell and they still made me pay full price. I am extremely upset and will not be coming back."
"Had lash extensions done at the o’some brows Glen store and it was time for them to be removed they were very clumpy and itchy. I decided to remove them at the Doncaster store as I work next door and it’s more convenient however my experience was excruciating. The application was shocking. They had so much glue on them that when I’d comb them the glue would get stuck in between the gaps of the mascara wand! I told the lady I start work at 1:30 so I had to be out by then, my appointment was for 12:45 ( your booking system says it takes 30 minutes to remove so I wasn’t stressing) The lady started putting the solution on and told me she will come back in 15 mins, a lot of time had passed and my eyes were practically burning and sore to touch.. I managed to walk to get my phone to check the time and at this point it was 1:22… the solution had been on my lashes for over 30 minutes.… it was getting so painful and the lady came in and told me to lay down, I told her it was burning and that I couldn’t lay down cause I had tears pouring out and the solution all over my face and my uniform. She couldn’t remove all the lashes cause the glue was so thick and not cutting through. My brain started to think If they use super glue or something… I lost lashes in the process from her tweezing each extension off my own lash. She told me she needed another 20 minutes to let the solution break down the glue. My eyes had dried up glue/solution on them that were white. She also took 20$ from me which I thought was outrageous. You don’t only destroy my lashes in the process but you don’t complete the work! I left with 50% of extensions still on and you charged me full price. I’ve had so much extensions done in the past, and not once have I had any solution been left on for this long. You better pray my lashes grow back or I’ll take this further. STAY AWAY."
"Decided to stop by and get a lash lift and tint with a girlfriend last night and boy o boy do I regret that. After trying a few different places, we decided to ask this business if they had time for myself and my friend to get a lash lift and tint done. They told us to take a seat. We weren’t waiting for too long which given that it was a Thursday late night, I was expecting to. When I sat down, they asked what service I was getting done and it started from there. All seemed to be going well until about halfway ish through the treatment my back started getting sore which was odd as lash lifts don’t take too long so I didn’t think much of it. Towards the end of the service the lash lift solution was removed and I was asked if I wanted a tint too which I did clarify I wanted but never mind, things slip peoples mind all the time. That’s when things started to really go down hill. A couple minutes after this I had some discomfort whether from the lash solution or the tint, I’m uncertain. When it came time to remove the tint, my fave was absolutely drowned in water soaked cotton pads which then lead to a mixture of lifting solution and tint getting in my eyes making them highly irritated. When I sat up to have a look, my eyes were as red as anything along with my under eyes too which didn’t seem to concern the lady doing the lift. When I initially looked in the mirror I was a little disappointed as my lashes barely looked different and the tint was nowhere to be seen. Understandably I was saddened as myself and my friend I came in with had been sitting in the chair for an hour and a half! Lash lifts do not take this long, especially as I had no other services done. I left and my lashes only got worse from there. Especially my left side, it’s horribly curled back on itself and the lashes are crossing over each other and wonky and it just looks plain awful. Not to mention they feel like straw. Honestly if you’re not confident and are not properly trained on lash lifts, I recommend that you do not perform them as you can seriously damage a persons lashes and eyes. I’m thankful that cosmetic damage is all I suffered as the careless removal of the lash solution was disgraceful. Please do better for your customers and get proper training before continuing to take money from people for this service."
