"I have been going to hermosa for years and when I found my hair stylist Chloe I haven’t let her go! She is an amazing stylist and was able to completely change my hair from box dyed black to beautiful blonde balayage without causing damage to my hair or losing length. All of the girls are lovely and professional, I feel comfortable every time I’m in the salon and look forward to my next visit, knowing that I will receive 5 star service at a fraction of the price compared to most salons in the area. "Worst customer service and rude staff They canceled my appointment 2 hour prior to my booking time without even apologising. Although the person I booked with was available and in store but they came up with an excuse that one of the girls is off and therefore they cannot provide any service to me. When I told them that this is not right to cancel in the last minute they still didn’t apologise and just asked me to reschedule. whats the use of that, I needed my hair done for a party not after that. So disappointed."

"I gave 2 stars because I had the Keratin smoothing treatment applied 2 weeks ago and was told it would get rid of my frizz for up to 3 months and that I would “love it”. I was very disappointed to discover there was no difference to my frizz at all after washing for the first time. I went back to the salon today and advised that the treatment had not lived up to my expectations. I was told that it is gradual and I will need to continue getting it done to “let it build up”. I was not told this at the time of having the treatment. There was no apology or offer to redo the treatment. So if you are considering going to Hermosa for this treatment, don’t expect great results. Other than this interaction I found the staff to be friendly. I was happy with my colour and cut. Just not the keratin treatment."

"A little while ago I booked myself in for the Friday hair was good and Saturday with Ashlee for my daughter as she is getting married on Tuesday had nothing but good reviews about your Salon. I get you guys were busy yesterday and staff called in sick and one of the staff members had to bring her child in. But this was a one off for my daughter to have a bit of a pamper before her wedding it was so gut wrenching for her to have what she got yesterday Ashlee was obviously busy with other people. Did not even come near her. The young blond intern dyed her hair not one word was spoken to her except put your head down or up. So much dye was around her head I had to wipe it off. Then she sat their for for so long before it was washed off and then the same blond came back to dry her hair again not a word. For her then to have the lady come and cut her hair, she asked for a little trim she has cut so much of her hair it will now change the style she has picked for her design for her wedding shame on you all. This is absolutely so wrong I'm guttered not to mention my daughter I mentioned that one of the staff members bought their child in. This all happens to us at one time or another totally get it but when he started leaning on a chair rolling it around the salon so fast nearly running over people's toes not to mention the work health and safety concerns this was another thing that was not ok. Some of the staff thought it was funny the lady that cut my daughter's hair asked him a number of times to stop. I have no words only to say that you have changed my daughters wedding and have not given her an experience she deserved before her big day shame on you all."

"I came in for a full head of highlights and unfortunately my hair was not done correctly. I was offered to come back in the next day and the manager corrected my hair. I am not complaining about the hair mistake as it was corrected. But I had two very different days; the first day I was getting my hair done the manager was not present- the atmosphere in the salon was happy and a nice place to be. It was busy, music was playing and lots of chatter was around. They accommodated to my needs well. The second day I got my hair done by the manager it was clear the manager did not have any respect for the girls, they were constantly told off, sworn at,talked and directed in a very rude manner. Whilst having my hair done the atmosphere was horrible, it made me feel like I wanted to leave straight away. The girls seems afraid of the manager with her eyes always looking for their mistakes. She came across as aggressive and her body language- finger pointing, shouting and head shaking was all in-front of the customers. The young girl was told off regularly and taken out the back of the salon to what I can only think as “more telling off”. The girl was keen to learn but seemed to be the “slave” of her manager and not actually learning or supporting. Although it was a quieter day for the salon the girls looked busy and was cleaning and finding things to do but the manager always asked what they were doing whilst doing my hair. She also checked her watch regularly and walked off on many occasions during my hair treatment and left me for long periods of time not knowing what was happening. I usually love having my hair done but it has been a stressful experience overall and would not be going back."
