"Okay, hear me out. This place was tucked in the middle of nowhere in Dee Why. My girlfriend found it on Google maps. we ended up going here on a coin flip. We both got ramen. I got katsu chicken, and she got karaage and also added the nigiri 3 piece option. We were honestly blown away with the food. The sushi was so fresh, and the rice was so nicely compact. The Ramen broth I had was tonkotsu, and it was refreshingly light. Noodles were nice and soft. I tried my girlfriends Ramen, and she had miso, and the flavor of the miso was much more intense than tonkotsu. I was actually jealous and wanted to steal her bowl. But the katsu chicken blew me away. I'm not a fan of fried food being in a soup and ending up soggy. But the katsu maintained itself, and the umami flavor was there. I think if I went back, I'd get a chicken katsu miso ramen. It's too bad I live so far away from this place. I honestly want the best for this store. There not a lot of foot traffic around, and I genuinely think they deserve more customers. I hope they are getting a lot of door dash orders or something. In terms of price, I think it's way better in terms of price and flavor compared to ippudo in Pitt Street Westfields in the city. Would totally come back on an empty stomach just so I can try different nigiri. Also, my bad on the photos. The food was so good I forgot to take it when it was served to us. But proof that I ate here, though. Shoutout to the guy who was soloing the restaurant. He had a very kind demeanor."
"if you're after Japanese in the area, this is the only place to go. Amazing curry, udon and ramen. Also sushi but havent tried yet. So may options on the menu. Very kind and helpful staff. Plenty of seating."
"Cute place to sit down and eat with a group of friends or family for a satisfying meal. One aspect that stood out to me was the excellent value for money. The quality of food and range of options including drinks was great. Eager to explore more of their menu."
"I stumbled upon this restaurant on the way around the Dee Why market area. The location is a bit secluded underground. They serve Sushi and another type of Japanese cuisine. The bento is quite comprehensive and tastes good. However, the Tonkotsu Chasu ramen is a rather watery in taste, and the pork belly tastes good on the ramen. The electronic transaction payment method will attract a 1.5% additional surcharge."
"Strongly recommend this place. The chef is turning out the best sushi in Sydney and at very reasonable prices. Their una don, kara age and ramen were also first rate. If you know of a better Japanese restaurant in Sydney, please let me know."
