At Mystic Dreads, we specialize in the hand and hook method, a natural technique that ensures no chemicals, wax, or cotton are used. Whether you're looking to create dreadlocks or add extensions using real human hair or synthetic hair, we have you covered.

Nestled in the breathtaking Lower Blue Mountains just outside of Springwood, our location is easily accessible, with Penrith and Richmond just a half-hour drive away and Parramatta less than an hour away.

When you visit Mystic Dreads, you can expect a relaxing experience. Sit back in our comfortable barber chair, watch TV, or listen to your favorite music while we work our magic on your hair. Our goal is to not only create stunning dreadlocks but also to keep them healthy and looking fantastic. That's why we recommend maintenance every 3 to 4 months throughout your dreadlock journey. Our maintenance process includes resetting loose hair and tightening the roots, ensuring your dreadlocks remain neat and tidy.

If you have thin or joined-together dreads, we also offer reconstructive services to help you achieve the look you desire. For those interested in new dreadlocks with extensions, please contact us via email or phone so we can assess your situation and provide you with an accurate quote. Please note that a deposit of $150 is required for new creations with real hair.

In addition to our dreadlock services, we also offer wool dreads, the most flexible of all dread extensions. With a wide range of colors and designs to choose from, wool dreads are not only soft to the touch but also make you stand out in the crowd. Prices for wool dreads start at just $10 for one double-ended dreadlock.

For those who aren't quite ready to commit to dreadlocks, we also create hair wraps and synthetic dreadlocks from scratch.
