"We had an amazing holiday at Holiday Shacks “Mount Martha - Perla Marina” getaway! From the moment I made the reservation, the communication from Lucia was excellent, ensuring we had all the necessary information prior to our arrival. The property itself was nothing short of amazing!!! Gorgeous views of Melbourne, a beautiful pool, clean rooms and well-stocked amenities made our stay like we were at our home away from home!"

"We booked a residence at mount Martha last minute for the long weekend for over $3500 and $1000 bond. my uncle passed away. It was a huge shock. We called holiday shacks to see what they could do (a credit note, refund, or future booking)..and the response we got was that ‘we’re a business at the end of the day and there’s nothing we can do’. I was shocked. They would only refund our bond and nothing else. Not even offer a credit note or opportunity to book in the future. Such a cruel way to run a business. My sister inlaw and her husband were forced to go and stay just so we didn’t give them free money. Even though they left a day early. Never again, plenty of other agencies to book with don't give them your money."

"The property was great and really suited our needs and everything was pretty much as we were lead to expect. A few things I feel should be mentioned however: some of the glasses and dishes weren’t clean; there was no dishwashing liquid provided; the vacuum had not been emptied; also the coffee machine needed beans which we weren’t informed about and there were no alternative ways to make coffee. In addition, I feel that the $500 cleaning fee was too much, considering how much we were expected to do before we left. We’d love to book another property but this factor would make me think twice in future. Happy to elaborate if you wish."

"Just has the best 4 days holidaying with the family at Mt Martha the accommodation was perfect, views amazing, location great and the house itself had everything you needed, very clean spacious and the outside areas were great to entertain and enjoy our time together, the pool was private and great. would highly recommend this property to stay at and would love to return again. Was very clean when we got there so it was left just as clean when we left."

"Such a great holiday. Will definitely be booking through holiday shacks again. The house was perfect for me and my family. Holiday shacks team get a 5/5 for communication. From reading the other reviews I can tell that people moaning about not having their bond returned have done something wrong and had their bond deducted for good reason. We had a bit of an accident at the house and caused a stain on the carpet however reported to holiday shacks straight away and they said they had reported to owners who said they did not want to charge us for this. Our full bond was returned to us in 7 days after we left the property, would recommend a holiday with holiday shacks."
