Lancemore Lindenderry Red Hill

"Nice location but we didn't believe there was enough attention to detail or level of service to justify the cost. Not enough kindling or fire lighters, which meant that we needed to keep going to reception to ask for more, which is fine, but reception closed extremely early on the Sunday. Our room was serviced while we were out, which is great, however they took all of towels, and after much hunting (because reception was closed) I managed to find 2 towels in one of the cupboards - thankfully. Not sure what we would have done otherwise with no staff on site. Might seem like a small thing but there were no shower caps provided, and for $500 a night, this is a small detail one would expect. We unexpectedly needed to check out early on our last morning to attend work commitments back in Melbourne, meaning we would miss out on the breakfast we had already paid for. I asked whether there was any chance of us getting something simple (such as a take away coffee or a pastry) at around 7:15-7:20am, and was informed "the kitchen doesn't open until 7:30 there is nothing we can do". The lack of interest in wanting to come up with any sort of solution to this is what I found disappointing. Especially once again, due to the high cost per night, I would have expected at least an attempt to assist us, or at the very least, acknowledgement or a decent apology. Also - we could not even both have an instant coffee in our room, because there was only one pack of instant coffee!"

"Every single staff member is friendly and accommodating. From reception, to dining, everyone was a pleasure. Our favourite part of our stay was dinner with the effervescent Julian. His passion and knowledge for food and wine, as well the great conversation made this an experience we have told many friends and family about. We can't wait to have our Wedding there in February."

"My partner and I recently stayed a night at Lindenderry and I can honestly say there wasn't a thing I'd change. It was 10/10. I had actually surprised him with a night away, and when we checked in without me even asking for it we were given a free room upgrade which just added to the special surprise. The staff were all beautifully friendly, and took care in what they did. The grounds of the property were stunning to walk around and the indoor areas provided great places to spend our time. We had some drinks, played some pool by the fire and listened to Jazz music! The cherry on top was how comfortable the bed was, I had one of the best sleeps I've ever had in a hotel :). Highly recommend."

"Having spent a very special weekend away at Lindenderry Red Hill, I was blown away at this best kept secret which is only an hours drive from Melbourne. The staff were exceptional, the service superb, the room amazing which resulted in one of the best getaways I have ever had. A real highlight was the Dining Room Degustation which is a dining experience like no other and more like a journey thanks to Julian Morgan. "From when we first drove down to the venue we knew this was it as our wedding venue. The picturesque vineyard, to exceptional dining and beautiful function room with an ample dance floor, Lindenderry was the perfect venue for us. Serena our wedding coordinator was absolutely perfect, whilst there were a couple of issues that popped up here and there she made sure it wasn't a problem quickly and professionally. Her wonderful relaxed attitude really puts you at ease and instantly reassures you that she has everything under control. The on-site accomodation was very handy and breakfast in the morning was delicious. The canapés and meals throughout the night were beautifully presented and consistently wowed the guests and us, maintaining the high standard we experienced at the menu tasting. A wonderful venue with classic vibes and a few modern touches that really sets out Lindenderry from the rest."
