"Excellent hostel. It is my first choice every time I'm in Sydney. First time i was there was in May 2022, when other people were managing it, and it was quite messy and dirty. But after the current manager Nacho took over, everything started to get better"

"I love this place. Although I think it does not deserve 5 stars I‘m still giving them for all the princesses who only give 1 Of course it’s not squeaky clean and some kitchen appliances aren‘t working. It is full of lovely chatty backpackers which makes it practically impossible to maintain it like a hotel. Backpackers work here, they‘re given a chance to prove themselves. And that’s not even the only thing they do. There’s events almost everyday of the week from the hostel (for free). Staff is super friendly and helpful and the facilities do their job. I’ve stayed here months without problems. If you‘re not made out of sugar I can really recommend this hostel!"

"As dirty as it gets. Would never go back EDIT: Hello Nacho, no one said I stayed in the hostel during the last month. I spent more than a month in the hostel where everyone was sick due to the dirtiness. I saw everyday how the hostel was “cleaned”, basically changing the bin bags and “mopping” the floor with the dirtiest mops anyone can imagine, leaving the rooms worst after the “cleaning”. I could go on and on talking about the cockroaches which are everywhere, from the kitchen to the rooms or the dorms. There is no point for me to keep going and loosing my time, I will never recommend this hostel to anyone and I will definitely never go back."

"We stayed in a 6 bed dorm for 2 nights and ended up checking out. People were nice and the staff were amazing at reception, really nice and also really helpful however, one of the cleaners was so rude and would rush us out of common areas to clean. Kitchen is tiny for how many people are there, only 1 stove and no room to prepare any food. Bathroom is modern and clean, rooms are small and quite dirty. They do sangria night which gets everyone talking and brings the hostel together so it’s good for meeting people. Lots of events on every night and the dining table is nice because you get to sit with everyone and get to know people. Bit of a mixed review but overall it was okay, the people make the hostel."
