"We went to the Glenferrie Hotel to watch the World Cup, and can't talk more highly of the staff. The venue was packed yet the staff remained calm, friendly and super helpful! Was quick to get a drink! A new staff memeber served my partner and accidentally forgot the table number for our food when we inquired into it they took full accountability apologised and even shouted us a round of drinks! Minor mistakes like this happen everywhere it is the way that the wonderful staff at the Glenferrie dealt with it that is unique! Do yourself a favour and head down!"

"We were there for a work dinner, and everything was spot on, they were cater to all our requests and tan a tan throughout the night. Service for the large group was spot on, which can be hard at times. I can throughly recommend the Glenferrie hotel for meals and drinks."

The room was comfortable and clean with its own unique character in keeping with the theme of this beautifully restored venue. The staff! "We spent 4 nights recently at Glenferrie Hotel and highly recommend staying there, as the rooms are very comfortable and are very clean with all the usual hotel amenities. We dined out in the hotel and was pleasantly surprised with menu options. The food was delicious and the variety of tap beers is exceptional. We thoughly enjoyed our stay."

"I held my 21st birthday celebrations here and I couldn't speak more highly of the venue and staff. I was initially quite overwhelmed when I started trying to organise everything, but all of the staff were so incredibly helpful in assisting me in the leadup to the event and on the night. They also replied to all my emails, inquires, and questions in a very timely manner. As soon as you walk in, the building already has so much charm. We were located in the back beer garden which is very spacious and is beautifully decorated with fairy lights and fake plants. There was plenty of space to both sit and stand, in addition to having a large area for dancing. The retractable roof over the beer garden was fantastic because we could close it enough to keep the heat in but still have it partially open since it wasn’t raining. Throughout the night, I received so many compliments from friends and family about how lovely the venue was and how much they enjoyed the food. Another very big thank you from me and my family for making my 21st birthday as memorable and enjoyable as it was. Myself and my guests all had a marvellous time and we will definitely consider your charming venue for any other events we might have in the future."
