"Room and service generally OK. Room AC takes at least an hour to kick in, reception gave us a blanket until it eventually warmed up. Room was clean but stains on the headboard and curtains were a worry. We only found out by accident that a man had been shot to death in the hotel's basement parking area two weeks earlier. Central location for Bondi Junction, just down from Westfield's and mall area. Overall a good stay."

"Excellent place to stay, the stay were excellent and I think are available 24hrs at the desk, the room was spotless and very spacious, small cooker,iron,fridge and safe in roomthe room also has an extra door lock to protect the room. Daily room service, which was great. Location is key if you're travelling Sydney as it's beside the main train station"

"I recently had the pleasure of booking my Mother and Nan a stay at Holiday inn Bondi Junction, situated just 300 meters away from the train station, and it turned out to be a delightful experience. The hotel's prime location is undoubtedly its strongest feature. Being so close to the train station made it incredibly easy for my mum and nan to explore Bondi Junction and its surrounding areas. Whether they wanted to hit the iconic Bondi Beach, visit the bustling city center, or simply enjoy some local shopping and dining, everything was within easy reach. The staff at the hotel were welcoming and friendly, providing a warm and hospitable atmosphere from the moment I stepped in. Check-in was a breeze, and they offered helpful tips and recommendations for places to visit nearby. The room my mum and nanhad stayed in was comfortable and well-appointed. It had all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay, including a cozy bed, clean bathroom, a television with local channels and a small workstation, which doubled as a little coffee table The hotel had great value for the room i booked. The surrounding area of Bondi Junction also added to the overall charm of the hotel. There were plenty of cafes, restaurants, and shops nearby, allowing my mum and nan to experience the vibrant local life effortlessly."

"Great location. rooms are clean but slightly old, with older mattresses. Lift is terrifying - loud noises ! All in all standard get what you paid for, good for work trips. Will stay again."

"My colleague and I came to the Holiday Inn for a business trip. Our initial impression was very positive. Our flight landed at 08:00am and check in wasn't scheduled until 3:00pm, but staff were able to get us rooms and checked in at 12:30pm and 1:15pm. After this time, service was average but the room was decently sized. One thing I noticed was hair on the bathroom floor, which should have been cleaned, but with the rush and jetlag, it was a very minor issue. One set of positives was the mini fridge size and the fact that there was a stove and dishwasher. This hotel was also VERY close to the transit system and 10minutes by bus to Bondi Beach. The biggest issue we had was at about 5:00am the next morning. My colleague went downstairs to speak with reception as the hotel room phone would not dial out. Upon arrival downstairs, no one was at the desk and his key card deactivated and he could not return to the floor we were staying on or enter his room. He was able to get another patron to let him onto our floor, where he came to my room. My room phone also did not dial out. We had to use Roaming on our phone to contact someone, I believe off site, to have someone come and fix his card. The website states that the concierge desk is covered 24/7 but this was clearly an issue. There should be a communal phone at the desk for guests to use if there is an issue."
