"Private Room was clean on initial look, though outdated. Heater falling off the wall. Loud guests at night coming in and out, and other guests with children running up and down the stairs at 6am. Washroom was unclean and someone who was staying long term had used the toilet and not flushed their poo, and they had their toiletries spread out all over the small counter. Bathroom looked as though it had not been cleaned in weeks. Mice scurrying through the walls / ceiling of the annex in the morning. Drunk guests in the children’s park next door and next to the window. When I removed the sheets from the bed to return to reception the next morning there was a USED CONDOM UNDER THE FITTED SHEET (how!?). Reception was not open at 8am (as stated on the window) to address issues (I had gone for breakfast nearby in order to wait to talk to them) and the phone was turned off. Absolutely nasty and disgusting, for a little bit more money stay LITERALLY anywhere else. Would get 0 stars if google allowed it."

"Noisy room, people walking in through the night talking loud and passing through the hall with their Uber bikes!! The shared kitchen was super small and always messy with dirty dishes everywhere. The advertising said breakfast included, but it wasn't!! Also, it said "smoking area" and there wasn't!!"

"We booked a "family room" with "limited availability of cots". When I checked in, I was informed that there are no cots at all since infants usually dont stay at this place. When I saw the "family room" I realized why. It didnt look like the pictures online at all but more like the inside of a prison cell. The room was located directly at the entrance of the hostel so all those inconsiderate drunken guests kept wakeing us up until 4:30 am (!) in the morning. The night time at 10 pm is not enforced at all. Loud music is playing at least till midnight. There are guests getting drunk at the adjacent playground. There are guests smoking weed right in front of the hostel. Calling any room in this S***hole "family room" would be considered fraud in most countries. Asked for a different room in the annex but no can do... Tl,dr: Staying here was the worst mistake I made in years. Stay here if you just want to party in sydney and neither care about cleanliness nor sleep."
