"Very disappointed in the reply of ‘the owner’ regarding the lost dog Coco yesterday! I in fact was with Miranda when the puppy came to us and at no point did ANY staff come looking or calling out for the animal, as we were outside the whole time! We even walked out to the street multiple times looking around for anyone missing the poor puppy! As a foster carer myself, I’m disgusted how your practice has been, especially when not too long ago you closed your shop early and left someone’s poor dog in your store !!!! The dog had not even been bathed as it she still smelt unwashed, Nor did your staff take instant action as the owners were not notified until they went their to pick her up! Your staff also did not walk the streets till she was found as I actually took her home with me for the night in Templestowe area and later through other ppl received the owners contact number to call them! I will be telling others to never use your service as noones loved pet should ever go through with what you have caused since taking over the business!"

"Yesterday I was in port Melbourne and a little puppy comes running in through the garage door. This is close to the tram side of raglan street port Melbourne. This puppy had no collar on and and appeared to be well groomed (almost freshly groomed however had urine all over it/ possibly not washed, possibly out of fear, not the point) initially thought it was lost as it scoffed down whatever dog food I could get from the servo. Went all across the streets trying to find its owner. Lo and behold a notice came up next door to this business noting a puppy of this description had ‘escaped’ this grooming business. Spent over an hour and no one to be seen looking for a lost puppy. Finally was able to make contact with the owner of this distressed baby and they were beyond devastated as to what happened. Owner told me they would not pay for this “grooming” and would also never return. What a grooming (losing) service! I would be highly cautious of trusting your dog being groomed here unless you want it to end up on the streets. This is how dogs end up in pounds and being put down. Worse case someone never returns the animal to their rightful owner. If I could give zero stars I would."

"I recently had my Cocker Spaniel groomed at Ange Pet Salon and am less than happy with their service. Although I was able to book my dog in for a groom the following day which was very convenient, the standard of cut was very poor and I was charged 25% more than I was quoted. When I booked my dog in for the cut, I stated it was a Cocker Spaniel and I would like a standard Cocker Spaniel cut, I was quoted $105-$115. I had washed my dog less than a week earlier and on the morning of the cut I brushed out and removed every bit of matted hair and cut out all knots/dreadlocks. When I picked my dog up, I was told it was $145!!! When asked why, the manager stated that it was because of excessive dreadlocks and matted hair. I told him that was impossible and asked for further explanation. He said it was because I wanted a standard Cocker Spaniel cut which required extra scissor work and brushing. When I said I was quoted $105-$115 and they knew it was for a Cocker Spaniel the manager said it did not matter. (I did ask them to leave the dogs top knot which was the only variance to a standard cut). I paid and left, and after leaving saw they had missed cutting a big section of hair near the dogs tail. They rectified the tail issue, however when I got home I realised they had not stripped the dog of dead hair either (see attached photo) which I did myself. The manager said he did not care what I had been quoted, and refused to charge only the quoted price. Needless to say I will never go back to Ange Pet Salon in Port Melbourne."

"When you are the best you need to make sure you book in advance - especially for weekends, just like any good hairdresser :) The staff are always friendly and love your dog almost as much as you. Very clean and great holding facility. They are a little on the pricey side yet you pay for what you get. Highly recommend."
