"RUDE AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM CHARMAINE !! Never had an issue with Louise. Very polite and always accomodating. Stayed 3 weeks ago with no issues. No "circumstances" as indicated. We contacted for a booking Charmaine forgot to call back. Lies about availability despite plenty of rooms available to book online. We understand business get busy and "forgot" as you indicated to call back but no need to lie about availability. Also no need to disrespect people by saying they are Never allowed to stay again for no reason. Charmaine continues to talk over me and when informed I would make a written complaint " "Send a complaint email I'm the owner" then Hangs up! Have been staying here for 5 + years have never had an issue with Louise. You have definitely lost a long time customer ! No need to blame customers if you forget to call them back and make excuses for issues which do no exist! I don't think this is "fantastic" customer service to talk over customers and hang up on them?"

"A very accommodating motel, in a convenient place. With some last minute family emergencies, Louise and the staff were most helpful in assisting my family. They made a very stressful time, that much easier for us. For those who need accommodation for hospital visits, this is really easy. With the train station 500m away, and direct into the city. This place is well worth your time."
"Not sure if I should give a 3 or 4 star rating. There were good things about this motel and some bad things. The good things include nice and clean bathroom with plenty of good hot water and the bathroom was warm and well lit. The towels and bed linen was very good and very clean. We had a two room family suite. It was spacious and well supplied with coffee making supplies and good supply of plates, eating utensils even pots and pans for cooking on the stove as well as the microwave in the room. The motel location is good for public transport, bus and trains. Close walking distance to a Coles supermarket and also a nice bistro. Very secure off road covered parking was also a pluss. The not so good was on arriving the room was very stuffy. The simple use of a little room freshener would have help create a better first impression. Running the air conditioners nude a big difference. The other bad was the well worn carpet. It was very evident that the cleaners did not vacuum the room or if they did they did a very poor job. A little investment in at least carpet cleaning would have a very positive impact for future guests, or better still. New carpets. Overall the rooms where basic livable. The motel does not present itself, as a higher class motel. Being able to accommodate 5 people for about $200 a night you cant expect 'gold-plated' accommodation. The place is an old homey stile place. But just a little bit more care with the place would make the cost very good. The staff I met, Louise, were very friendly and helpful. Finally, if your a light sleeper ask for "not a front room facing Sydney Road"."
