"Reception service was good. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful, especially the two ladies (a black woman and a blonde woman). We stayed for 4 weeks and were supposed to have weekly room cleaning on Mondays but they only came the first Monday, skipped the following week, came in on Thursday the third week at a random time, and skipped the fourth week, so don’t count on it or be prepare to bring it up with reception every week. Price for accomodation is okay, not the most budget friendly at $119-139 a night. They do give free tea and coffee which was nice. You can get your towels changed regularly if you bring it to the reception desk and there is free wifi as well. But no microwave or toaster, and their bar fridge was not cold. They do have a communal fridge that works fine. Laundry was very expensive and you have to bring your own detergent or pay to get laundry powder from reception. The dryer wasn’t powerful so we had to run our laundry a few times in the dryer. There is also a timeframe for using the laundry, you can’t use it past 10pm. Location is not very accessible if you’re reliant on public transport. From Gosford station the bus to ibis Gosford usually comes hourly, especially in the evenings. Continental breakfast is $10 per person and mainly consists of toast and cereal. You’re better off getting McDonald’s next door or walking to Coles or Michel’s."
"room price is very reasonable located right next to 24 hour maccas reception not open 24/7 however nice and friendly rooms are decent enough except the bathrooms - be ready for the entire floor (toilet and shower) to be flooded and messy when you take a shower - no separate shower area"
"Good, quiet room for the price. The room was tiny, but had the necessities. Shower pressure was laughable. The room smelt a bit musty but the AC fixed that. The window shades could be either all the way up or all the way down, no in between. We left the sign on the door for a 'refresh' and left towels on the wet bathroom floor but they didnt get done for the 2 nights we were there. Hallway carpet was a bit gross too. Overall, it is what you would expect for the money."
"Great service from female duty manager Jordan. Very helpful and warm in character. Reasonable room rate. Room 209 needs work and cleaning. Window seal lets a howling noise in. Carpet had 2 bad stains. Doona had stains. Carpet behind door needs vacuuming. Quiet parking out back. $10 continental breakfast was good."
"The staff were super friendly. The room was small. Quite possibly the noisiest hotel I've ever stayed at. Really thin walls. Could clearly hear what ppl were saying in the room across the hall. The bathroom was more of a wet room. The whole room gets flooded after you take a shower and takes hours to dry out. So enjoy wet feet every time u use the toilet."
