"Tradie motel. Pub and bar restaurant at front great. Service great. Rooms, comfortable. Renovated, maybe a few years ago... But not recently. Already showing from the age or lack of thorough cleaning. Old old oooold Mitsubishi air cons are great but dam they are noisy."

"Will never stay here again. False advertising - says 8 seater hot tub - wasn’t in use. Pool fence is broken but has been somewhat secured but isn’t safe. kids could still potentially get through the broken fence. Rooms are outdated but we thought they were tidy, heaters warmed the room up nicely. Blinds on the front windows aren’t wide enough to cover the whole window so we had a about a 4 cm gap where people could see into our room. Door seal under the door had big gaps. Late on our 2nd night stay there were cockroaches on the floor and on the end of the bed - which my partner removed. Shower was amazing with water pressure etc except it didn’t take long for the shower floor to flood. Not sure if because the drains were blocked or if because the shower head used so much water the drains couldn’t cope. No tv subscriptions available. Spoke to reception late to advise of the issues and we were offered a new room but I declined due to it being so late and my partner removing the cockroaches. Woke up Sunday to leave for a function and there were ants in the wardrobe. The only thing I would recommend is the restaurant. The food was amazing as was the chef and the young lady we had as a waitress. I contacted the hotel again to discuss these issues and to see if we could possibly get a discount etc due to the problems and the lady was very argumentative and stated that because they offered us another room which we didn’t accept then it’s bad luck. We did try and speak to reception Sunday morning but as we were checking out no one was available that early. Very disappointed with the lack of customer service - possibly an idea for the chef to train staff in how to have amazing customer service skills as his were fantastic."

"Clean and comfortable. It's not a 5 star motel but definitely affordable and handy to most facilities and the city. Only suggestion would be to supply face washers to accompany the excellent linen."

"We stayed 23 - 25 February 2023 while attending a church conference. The motel is quite old but clean and the beds were particularly comfortable. The staff were very helpful and accomodating. They provided us with a microwave and toaster at our request and very kindly put on the airconditioner when we were at the conference so we arrived to a lovely cool room. I would stay here again as the location was very convenient to Enjoy church, Sunshine."
