Welcome to 7ettimo Ristorante Pizzeria, located on Norton Street in Leichhardt, Australia. This establishment is more than just a restaurant; it is a point of interest and a food haven.
The story of 7ettimo Ristorante Pizzeria begins with the owner's humble beginnings as a waiter in Lilyfield. With a meager wage and the need to rely on tips, the owner quickly learned the value of hard work and dedication. Norton Street, known for its vibrant atmosphere, became a haven for people from all walks of life.
Fast forward to 1988, when the owner started his journey as a chef. Over the years, he has worked in various locations across Sydney, building a loyal customer base that has become like family. The 7th restaurant, aptly named 'Settimo' in Italian, opened its doors in Leichhardt in 2007. The name symbolizes both the owner's personal journey and the dedication it takes to succeed in the competitive restaurant industry.

And for those looking for a lighter option, our fresh white bait, delicately battered and lightly fried fritti-style, is served on a bed of crisp lettuce and a squeeze of zesty lemon.

Our commitment to quality, hard work, and genuine hospitality has kept us thriving throughout the years. We invite you to join us and become part of our extended family. "The spaghetti marinara is one of the best in Sydney. John, the owner and the chef is friendly and super accommodating. I normally look at the specials menu, and then ask John to cook a pasta dish using the seafood special of the day, with the sauce of my choice (red or white). John is always more than happy to cook to order. 7etittmo is an amazing little gem. Give it a go and you will not be disappointed!"
"What a gem! Delicious homemade dishes and crispy wood fired pizza, the owner generously treated us with strawberry sweet wine which made by himself. Manager Dominic is very friendly too, no poker face no plastic smile, everything just feels like home here."
"I was unsure about this place, I always look at the menu online before to try new places and I‘ve noticed pizza prices too low here. But there are very good restaurants in this area, so I thought it could have been for the competition, not necessary low prices because of a low quality. So I went there and I was pleasantly surprised, pizza was good and the ingredients were fresh. The base was slightly thicker than usual pizzas and it was nice. The only problem was the host. I understand he’s trying to be welcoming and funny but he talked to much for the whole time, breaking the atmosphere. Maybe I just shouldn’t have said that I’m Italian when he asked me, because I gave him more motivation to talk with me."
"Disappointing. VERY slow service... Bruschetta is paltry. Minimal attention given. Since moving, they seem to have dropped off their level of quality. - Waited 10 minutes from being seated just to be looked at and given menus (no drinks orders). They all kept walking past us without looking at our table! - Waited another +25 minutes to be given water / order drinks and food (by the way - BYO ONLY) - Waited +35 minutes for the 1 entree the table had ordered - Waited +25 minutes for the mains - Waited +10 minutes for food corrections (more on that below) - Ate our meals in 15 minutes and left straight away since we had not anticipated to have to stay for THAT long. TOTAL for a small meal for 3 people = 2 hrs (WAY too long) The pasta was good. The pizza was burnt underneath, but still under-cooked on top. The 'Bruschetta' they do is a couple of pieces of tomato soaked in oil with a dab of garlic, placed onto dry stale toast. The amount of tomato was so small, it was laughable. There was nowhere near enough tomato compared to bread. The bread was stale. We sent the bruschetta back to the kitchen to get a bit more topping (since we asked for the bruschetta as a main), and lo and behold - we had to wait another 10 minutes! While we were waiting, two other families cancelled their orders and left due to waiting way too long for their food. They both said they would not be coming back. I expected much more from this place. I won't be coming back either."
"Best pizza on Norton St. We ordered a pizza and a seafood pasta, pizza was top class but pasta was not so bad. Good value for money, food came out fast. Staff was nice and friendly. Tables, glasses and cutlery are nice and clean. Only down side is they charge 2% for credit card payments."
