"Been here 3 times now. Best pizza in Crows Nest. Staff are nice but difficult to get proactive or anticipatory service, especially if dining Al fresco. Good pizza makes up for it. House white wine is atrocious but the house red is decent and drinkable."
"We made a reservation but upon arrival, didn’t look like the table had been set for us and were told to just find a space…okay but where exactly? There were 8 of us and the largest table seated 6. When it came to taking our order, the waiter really struggled and kept on saying “hold on a sec” after each menu item which made it seem like it was their first day working. The food did take 20-30mins to arrive but we assumed that was due to the amount of food we ordered. The pizzas and pasta was okay, not fantastic nor bad just average. The restaurant also seemed pretty warm almost overheated. There was also only one bathroom for each gender."
"We had a lovely birthday lunch at this restaurant. Ambience, food everything was lovely. Staff was very friendly and attentive. We had ordered the chilli crust & white sauce chicken pasta and for dessert had the Tiramisu cake. Everything was freshly cooked and tasted really delicious. We would definitely be recommending this to friends and come back again for the delicious food."
"Pleasant atmosphere with nice decorations. As we came around 5.30pm, it was pretty empty and we got seated at the back (5 people). Entrée came out soon after we ordered! Staff were very friendly and kind and asked us how our food was after each meal. Unfortunately, the size of the restaurant made communication hard with the staff so asking for water refills were difficult as they rarely came to the back. Food was decent but very overpriced for what it is. Arancini was average which was upsetting."
"We so want to support local businesses but this is the most we could rate this restaurant. Food took about 20 minutes to come out - perhaps even longer. The problem with this restaurant is that the menu is too extensive which means the kitchen staff will take forever to have the food cooked (too much time spent prepping, cutting, opening different packets etc). It really is the sort of restaurant which is quantity over quality. I’d significantly reduce the menu items - maybe 8 pizzas,6 pastas and entrees etc- and just focus on what you do well. The menu attempts to be all things to all people and it’s just far from gréât in any area. Service was lovely, restaurant was comfortable, what was lacklustre was the food. We ordered the ribs (which was fine but didn’t delight), rocket salad (again, fine), and the entree platter which felt very oily and overly battered. Crows nest is a competitive place to run restaurants, particularly with so many restaurants within an easy drive. To compete you’ll need to be very good- beating your stock standard places like Bravo and the recently closed ride on pizzeria and it just didn’t do it for us. Sorry."
