"I am not a person to leave a review but I need to warn people about my experience with this place I went to vanity in a desperate need of a spray tan as my spray tan lady canceled on me last minute the night before a big event. I rang up on a Friday night and was quoted $50 which was fine. I turned up to my appointment and the lady was extremely rude, mind you I came for a spray tan but the lady who did the tan was more worried about my skin and she kept saying your skin is really dry it’s quite dead it might need some help, do you see a dermatologist ect ect. and she made me feel really uncomfortable as I was not there for a facial or skin consultation . This was before I had to take my clothes of and stand in front of her for a spray tan. Anyways we get to the spray tan and after the spray tan the lady asked to sit down with me to talk about my skin (face) as I do have a little bit of acne but I wasn’t there for that. Anyways the lady just kept trying to sell me add ons for my skin which I politely declined as I was there for a spray tan only. I get there was a pandemic but I felt pressured into buying facial products or booking in for a skin consultation which I would never after this ladies comment on my face. I then went to pay and was charged $65 despite talking to someone on the phone 40 min earlier stating it would be $50 anyways at that point I was already self conscious and just wanted to leave so I paid it, even tho I shouldn’t have. I get that Covid may have hit places hard but I was quoted what I was quoted. Then the next morning to find out that my skin was not even tanned despite keeping it on overnight and longer than 8-10 hours I then had to Bondi sands my body for the event which I wasted $65 and was extremely self conscious of my skin and face after the ladies comments I would not recommend this place for a spray tan as the tan did not come out and they will just try to sell you add ons or other services"

"Vanity is located in a small shopping centre, so nothing fancy there. However they charge like a first class salon. I asked for a cut and colour with a half head of foils. I was given a quote AFTER the foils were put in, so no chance of leaving. The quote was $475. I couldn’t believe my ears! I said I couldn’t afford that so just continue with the foils and not cut or blow wave. The quote went down to $280. I expected $250 for the whole deal. So I walked out with no cut. They did continue with a base colour as they had already mixed it. Last time I go there. Foils are also yellow. Rip off!"
