"Deep dish pizza, also known as Chicago-style pizza, hails from Chicago, Illinois, featuring a thick, deep crust in a high-sided pan. It's packed with layers of cheese, toppings, and sauce, typically in reverse order compared to traditional pizzas. Two years ago, I had the opportunity to try it in North Sydney before and it was so good. the place seem has been taken over by Parrinos, who now offer DDK pizzas alongside their own menu. It was a bit confusing with the two menus, but we decided to try something new and went for the HICKORY CHICKEN pizza. While the pizza was good, it didn't quite match the traditional Chicago style. The cheese was a bit bland for my taste, but the honey dip for the crust was enjoyable. However, the buffalo wings were disappointing, as they were full-sized wings rather than the smaller cocktail wings I was expecting. Overall, the experience was decent, but I believe the Chicago-style would be more popular and even better in its hometown than here in Australia."

"This review is just for the “Chicago styled pizzas”. I was really hoping that the deep dish pizza here would be like it is in Chicago … If you’ve lived in Chicago, you would realise this not really like real deep dish pizza “pie” you get there. Got the bears pizza. Generous with the Ingredients. Crust was a bit bland. It was very tasty and a good pizza for Australian standards, so would recommend it for a good pizza in the area. But it unfortunately lacks the deep thickness and ridiculous layers of cheese and rich tomato sauce that say a true giordianos deep dish pizza would have. On the plus side you aren’t waiting 35+ minutes for a Chicago deep dish to cook for you either, because these pizzas aren’t that thick."

"Best pizza I’ve ever had. Got the Chicago and it was so yum. Crust was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, had just enough toppings where it was generous but all held together. The Banoffee pie was delicious, too! Delivery was also fast and friendly."

"I ordered the Chicago Style deep dish Pizza & Pizza Pie last night & of course 2 slices of cakes! We ordered menu list below: 1. THE CHICAGO Tomato pizza sauce, cheese, beef, pepperoni, rasher bacon 2. CLUCK NORRIS Garlic base, cheese, chicken, chorizo, onion, bacon, topped with ranch sauce 3. S'MORES AMERICAN PIE SLICE 4. BANOFFEE PIE. My personal favourite was the Chicago, I loved the tomato sauce-based pizza rather that the garlic base (but if you love garlic, make sure you order CLUCK NORRIS) When we received the order, it was super fresh and hot! It is located in Caringbah, we discovered it via deliveroo! Highly recommended! The Chicago pizza was to die for, crispy, greasy, cheesy and so fun to eat."
