Nightcap at Colyton Hotel

"I stayed there for one night in room 17 and woke up in the morning covered in bed bugs my hand have been so itchy call and explan what happend and nothing happend i called back and thay said there was nothing wrong with the bed. but i know 100% was from that room I asked for a refund but thay refused very disappointed"

"My husband and I stayed at the Colyton Hotel for two nights. Check in was great the receptionist Alexandra was so loverly, friendly and helpful excellent customer service. The room we stayed in king studio was very clean, comfortable bed, had everything you needed for your stay. The cleaners cleaning the rooms next morning loverly even asked if we needed anything in our room clean towels, more coffee, tea etc not many hotels ask you . Definitely recommend staying here well done Colyton Hotel motel and thank you for making our stay a relaxing two nights we stayed."

"Service was great and the food from the bistro was delicious! We had a long day of travelling so having the option of room service from the bistro was a bonus! As for the room, we had higher expectations given the price we paid... One of the lights was broken, there was cobwebs and spiders on the walls, one of the pillow cases was dirty, the carpet flooring was wet, there was black hair on top of the doona and in the bed, there was black hair everywhere in the bathroom:on the walls, the sink, the floor, the shower!!! I went to unpack the little box next to the shampoo and conditioner thinking it was a shower cap but it was actually a sanitary disposal bag and the box was completely mouldy! The bottom of the shower was grimy, we actually showered with our shoes on. We went to open the complimentary water in the fridge and much to our suprise one of the bottles had already been open! The whole ordeal feels so unhygienic and with COVID still very much a thing I wouldnt be surprised if we leave here having caught it!!! We feel really let down by the state of the room considering this establishment had the best rating in the area, I'm really unsure how at this stage!?! Also why is the pavement outside the room so gross? It looks like there has either been a spew fest or something more sinister. I wish I could give a better star rating because the staff and the food were great but the accommodation not so much..."
