"As the owner of this business and unable to directly reply to a review that was inaccurate I’m reviewing by Responding to this person . As above a comment made by “Nico Soleil” In her review she not only gave my business 1 star but she wrote this 4 weeks ago when I in fact closed my business down over a year ago . I serviced this Lady over 2 years ago . Nico I’m sorry you felt this way however by Using my name and giving out misleading information this is defamation. The last contact we had was 2 years ago , you wrote to me, ( and I still have it) ,that it was your hair product that caused your irritation. In the messages I not once spoke to you rudely , I gave you my opinion on what may have cause this and also mentioned this could have been a reaction . You continuously wanted me to do your lashes and not once asked to take them off . If I recall I advised for you to have a rest from them . I charged full price and didn’t change my prices for close to 10 years . But this is also coming from a person who is always whining about something and reviews everything . You are client who is so hard to please . And I did my best to squeeze you in when I could. Your review is irrelevant as it was 2 years ago and we haven’t been in contact since you wanted to book . You never once told me otherwise . My business was a very successful one and This salon was operating for over 10 years , with a huge amount of local support . Shame on you . Good luck in the future sweetie, and maybe get a bit more sleep so you can remember your experiences with your next review . All the best and I truly hope you can move on from this since it’s been 2 whole years ."

"I have been a long time customer and I would never go anywhere else. Sonya is professional knowledgeable and educated about not only her treatments but also her products. She makes her clients feel valued even after all these years. I love my lashes and also get comments about how perfect they are. She takes her time and her years of experience really show. I have recommended her to many friends who all now are regulars and love their treatments. Sonya does the best lashes and eyebrow waxes!"

"Had a great first few experiences with my lashes however, my last 2 visits resulted in a really bad eye irritation that I had to take time off work!! The first time, with one ,swollen eye I was told it wouldn't be the lashes so I trusted that response and went back later on for my fourth refill one evening. The next day both my eyes were completely swollen and red so much so that I could barely see! I had to call in sick to work because I couldn't drive - something I never do! A doctor told me that this happens when the lash glue (adhesive) is put directly on the skin. I spoke to Sonya about this, to just give feedback that it happened again (I was polite and calm - these things happen after all) and she was so rude and dismissive that I was shocked it was the same friendly person I had visited 1 day ago. She was a completely different person like she was able to just flick a switch from one personality to another. She was clearly offended that someone would even suggest she made a mistake but I tried to stay calm and let her know I wasn't trying to defend her but she wouldn't have a bar of it. Feedback is an opportunity to correct things that aren't working and move forward. Accepting, acknowledging and implementing change from feedback is an important part of growth and customer retention. Being rude to paying clients does nothing for growth. Once the swelling had reduced, I tried to get an appointment to get them removed but every time I called she would tell me she had no availability..... I ended up going to another local beautician who was so helpful and empathetic that they removed them for free. Their lashes are more expensive but I haven't had any issues. Moral of the story is, you really do get what you pay for."
