The Foxs Lair

"The Fox's Lair is more than just a restaurant, it is a dimension! As soon as we entered we were captured by the unique atmosphere of the place consisting of two rooms connected by a corridor. The bar area, furnished in full Irish style with tables and armchairs in the center where you can sip a nice glass of wine or beer while waiting to be seated for dinner. When our table was ready we were escorted to the other room which also had fine traditional decor. Every dish was cooked with great wisdom and mastery, from the breaded mushrooms which was simply delicious with their crispy coating tenderness and richness in flavour to the luscious baileys cheesecake - the best I have ever had! Also when the chef found out that we were vegetarian, he personally came to the table to offer us alternatives which added extra points to an already top class dining experience.. I agree with some other reviewers who say you’ll be missing out if you visit Bundoran without eating at The Fox's Lair. I will certainly visit again at the first possible opportunity! R."

"What a place, the family who run it are absolutely brilliant. So welcoming and made you feel at home. I like the way you wait in the bar, order the your food, sit back enjoy your drink and then you are brought into the dining room. Now let's get down to business the 12oz sirloin steak is by far the nicest and biggest I have ever got for €23.50, I'll let the pictures do the talking. If you are in the area you have to go."
