"Plenty of spaces. This is a car park for Beleek Woods"
"Second trip to this fabulous hotel with a fabulous spa ,I made sure to book treatment for myself today, I absolutely loved it. A group of us travel from all over Dublin, louth, wexford, Athlone to mark Charlie Bird climb, we took part in a 10klm walk."
"This car park for Belleek Wood is often overlooked by those not familiar with the area but it is a very useful option. Once you have parked it allows immediate direct access into the wood on foot offering a choice of a number of trails to start on. The more usual access to the wonderful Belleek Wood trail complex from Ballina town centre is via Castle Road leading straight on passing the Athletic Track on your left and then continuing on to the end of the road at Ballina Town FC Soccer Club. Having parked here (or often people have walked, cycled or jogged from town) one continues on foot to gain access to the Wood a couple of hundred metres further on. Alternatively, to use this car park, turn left at The Castle Gates (just before reaching the Athletic Track) as if heading for Belleek Manor Hotel. Continue on for about 1 km or less until you pass the entrance to the Ballina Water Treatment Plant on your right and then this car park is almost immediately on your right. If you find this review helpful or interesting don’t forget to give it a “thumbs-up”. Thanks."
