Reviews of O'Hehirs Bakery
"I visited the bakery on Thursday and I bought buns and home made brown bread.i was very disappointed with my purchase of the bread.it certainly wasn't freshly baked.and cutting it was just impossible as it certainly wasn't fresh.i would say it was there for few days.it was on display with just one other.are they baked on the premises I wonder.ill be taking my bussiness else where for my home made brown bread"
"Went there to place an order of red velvet birthday cake. Sarah the lady who took the order was very nice but she didn’t even mention ‘red velvet’ on the order sheet. When my husband went to collect the cake Sat 29/01 around midday, he asked if it was red velvet, the lady ignored him and said ‘yes yes’ Finally we discovered that we got a standard birthday cake, just like those which are normally displayed there, with the HB written on that & full of sprinkles which all of us absolutely hated, which was why we had ordered red velvet with buttercream. Will never ever order from them again! So I had a birthday with a horrible o’hehirs standard birthday cake!"
"I don't usually review places, and if I do its when there has been very good service but I really was disappointed with our visit today. My two girls and one of their friends were doing abit of christmas shopping and I said I'd bring them in for a treat. Firstly we walked in to order but were told we had to go back outside to order donuts and then they would be left inside(no big deal) We went to order 3smarties and ferrero donut, the lady with short hair, glasses and english accent took 3 white chocolate and I said to her 'sorry they want smarties" she said they were the smarties and I asked what were those then...ones with smarties on top, she said they were oreo?? Ok so we just took the ones she gave, she walked into restaurant and I never got my Ferrero but I didnt want to get her back as she was already well on her way. Anyway, I got to the till and I hear her say "those 3donuts are for the lady there" so I asked could I have a large pot of tea with 2 cups, the woman on till was pleasant, asked for our covid certs said yes, got another cup and I paid, she said grab a seat they will be dropped down. The english lady who had brought in the donuts was who brought down the tray with 3 donuts, pot of tea and 1 cup, no serviettes, cutlery. My daughter said, 'sorry could I just get another cup please' to which the lady asked did we want another pot of tea, my daughter said no just a cup please. The lady told her its one cup to a pot. I said "oh I asked for a large pot and 2 cups" and she told me no we dont give extra cups, if you want an extra cup you have to get another pot of tea. I just said its fine as it was already very awkward experience with her already but I just thought she was quite rude and wont be going back in there again. I got a full cup of tea and then just gave the empty cup to my daughter who got another full tea out of it, didnt see the problem, my older daughter just wanted a small bit of tea with her donut, I didnt ask for more tea in the pot or anything costing them more."
