"It's a beautiful walk in the park. Surrounded by trees. There is a small playground space for children with swings and slides etc., the local GAA pitch is adjacent to it and the walk encompasses it. There is a carpark. So it's all very convenient and it's at the entrance to the beautiful village of Oughterard which is the gateway to Connemara with lovely shops pubs and of course the Owenriff River as it makes its way to the Corrib. Which has boat trips available to Inchagoill and Cong throughout the summer. The Mayfly is a big draw for fishing enthusiasts. So much on offer its a must destination for both locals and visitors."
