"This is such a special place. Totally private and peaceful accommodation in a beautiful setting. The dome is stunning! Clean, warm, amazing design and very large comfortable bed. Lovely walks around the dome. The sauna and plunge pool are a must. Hosts are friendly and helpful. Cannot recommend this place enough. We’d return in a heartbeat."
"Staying at Fernwood was a fabulous experience. We stayed in the studio and it was just the perfect place for an escape away. The room was bright and spacious but also super cosy. We lit the fire upon arrival and enjoyed the warmth, peace and quiet. We also availed of the sauna which was beyond amazing with the plunge pool providing the perfect cool down to maximize the sauna experience. We will definitely be back!"
"We had the most beautiful experience staying at Fernwood. And eft feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. It was lovely to be away from everything, in the relaxing and peaceful surroundings. Sitting by the lake and exploring the woods, the fantastic experience of the sauna and the plunge pool was one of our highlights. The convenience of been less than a 5-minute drive to Clifden to grab some nibbles and dinner makes this location just ideal. We loved that we could pop into the car and explore nearby beaches. Such a wonderful stay."
"We had the most amazing two nights away at the stilt house, from the rope bridge to the sauna it was just a surreal place! A slice of heaven in a gorgeous setting. We adored the hot tub right outside the door. Spotlessly clean and the most beautiful interior. We will absolutely be back it’s top of our list now!"
"Absolutely fantastic. Really enjoyed our stay and we would highly recommend it. A very peaceful and relaxing setting and a lovely escape. We had a Pine martin as a neighbour, looking in from the trees. The tree dome was just gorgeous and well equipped. The woodland sauna has a beautiful outlook over the lake and is only short walk away. We would definitely visit again. Get yourselves booked in, you won't regret it."
