"This felt like a hidden gem. Super quiet and romantic spot. Wine rec was fantastic. Charcuterie plate top notch. Lovely little spot."
"A temple for Irish cheese lovers with a cozy wine bar -upstairs- where the expert and charming Elena will prepare you the best selection following your wishes, along with a low intervention wine from her original Piemonte, for exemple. Not to be missed!"
"Huge and delicious selection of cheeses, helpful employees, and some of the best cheese I’ve ever had. Highly recommend"
"After having tried a selection of Irish cheeses from a variety of grocery stores over a few weeks it was time to consider the packing for the trip home. Since Canada allows us to bring 20kg of cheese back home without questions we went in search of a serious cheese shop. We found Sheridans. We also found a staff member who was very happy and enthusiastic about cheese. What we wanted was three cheeses that could survive a day without proper refrigeration packed in our luggage. We were offered a Gubbeen that we were assured would not notice the travel, a Kylemore that might sweat a bit and a Durrus Og that would not be quite Og when it arrived. We also got a Cnoc Dubh that we were assured would not survive the trip. It didn't. In fact it barely survived the walk home. Turns out it is rather nice on an oat cracker. All three cheeses survived the trip. The Durrus Og was a little dented but the Writer's Tears were in return nicely cushioned. It being a cool April I think the Kylemore did not sweat too much and the Gubbeen arrived as it left. (Although the Bram Brack had a Gubbeen shaped dent in it.) Looking forward to a return trip since if Cnoc will not come to me I will have to travel to the Cnoc."
"There doesn’t seem to be a lot of wine bars in Ireland, but I’m so glad for this one. Alina was so sweet and helpful, and both the food and wine were delicious. This cozy little place is a must go if you love wine!"
