"If there's something I love about Ireland is that you are able to find wonder and astonishment in unexpected places. November 2019, we visited P.J. Byrne's and I assure you it was one of the highlights of our trip around Ireland. People were so friendly and kind! Besides the place is really pleasant, fun and we loved that it was inside the shop you see as first entrance! We were so happy to be there. "You don't expect a bar through the front door of a corner shop anymore but this is a local mainstay. Well worth a visit. Bigger then ya think and more relaxing then it looks."
"Visited this pub twice in last few years. The bar is behind a shop, that you walk through first. Maybe 5-6 taps, with Hop House lager on offer for 3.00 (Dec 17). Good, cosy pub, recommended. I plan to return."
