"Position that allows complete relaxation, in an area within walking distance of about 12 minutes from the port. It is a 10 minute walk from the supermarket and 4 from a great pub/restaurant with live music until midnight. Pretty rooms, well-kept and linear in design with bathroom with window. For guests there are common areas such as a living room and a beautiful terrace overlooking the ocean. Continental breakfast, buffet and with full use of the kitchen (you can also prepare eggs, for example). By agreeing with the owners, you can also ask for the classic Irish breakfast."
"Port Aran House is a most exquisite B&B! Run by Sokha & Kevin, it's located on Inishmore, one of the stunning Aran Islands. The house has its back to the sea and provides deep comfort with incredible views. Sokha & Kevin made us feel welcome from the first moment they opened the door until we (reluctantly) had to leave two days later. The house is spotless and simply but elegantly furnished. The comfortable bed gave us a superb night's sleep. The help-yourself breakfast delicious, especially if you're lucky enough to sample Sokha's homemade scones and brown bread. It's located up the hill from the port, an easy walk. But if you're first arriving on the island, taking a taxi is cheap and saves you dragging your bags up the hill. This was our first stop on our Irish holiday, and we can't wait to go back. Sokha and Kevin helped us with restaurant recommendations, directions and everything we needed to thoroughly enjoy our stay on Inishmore. If I could give them more than five stars I would! An extraordinary place on a gorgeous island. You could not ask for more! Highly, highly recommended."
