Reviews of Lúnasa
"No prices displayed in window. Not normally a problem when you can go in and browse, but when you only have limited trading hours of 3 days a week, you would not be encouraged to return."
"My apologies for taking so long to post my review of Lunasa in Belmullet. I was a bit under the weather when I entered this lovely shop and met the equally lovely owner who gave me a very warm welcome. I ordered coffee and a piece of fruit loaf and enjoyed both while seated comfortably at a table in the full sunshine. After being refreshed, I spent some time looking for gifts and locally made soap. Delighted with all my purchases. Please note that the baked goods are home made by the owner and the coffee served in a cafetiere was superb. (If I could purchase online the handmade soap featured in the shop, I would do so most definitely. ) Looking forward to my next visit to Lunasa."
"My order took a while to come, but i was delighted when it finally came. What made it nicer was that i was left an apology note for the delay on the delivery and a free moisturiser ! Such a kind gesture :) Thanks again Rosaleen :)"
"I love this shop, your always going to find something that is totally unique from their selection of eclectic and creative products and gifts. They support local artists and crafts people too and you can find anything from beautifully natural handmade soaps, to the cutest handmade baby bibs. I love venturing into this shop as you never know what you'll find. It's a little treasure trove of unique and charming gifts."
"There are 4 tables inside, two more outside. Two of the insude tables are for four people, the others each have two seats. We had tea and hot chocolate with lots of marshmellows and scones which were nice. The girl serving was sweet and friendly but obviously overburdened with both café and shop till. Both big tables were blocked, one with dirty dishes that stayed in place almost until we left, the other with shop stuff that needed to be tidied into the shelves (and stayed the whole time). So the three of us squeezed onto a small table. We didn't particularly mind but it took a long time until our orders arrived. Anyway, didn't see any good alternative in the town, and no real hardship, so go if you manage to get a table."
