"Didn't eat here so hard to give it 5 Stars but still delighted to have had a pint here. As a big fan of the movie this is a holiday and visit that will live long in the memory. A wonderful village with beautiful scenery and obviously multiple locations from the film to see including this pub. The design of the pub isn't really an accurate copy from the movie but with the hatch on the right hand side of the bar counter and the two old style beer pumps (not working) for "porter" at least it's trying. This doesn't take away much from the experience and I hope to get back there soon for food and a much much more plentiful supply of drink than I could have had on this visit (driving). With Danaghers hotel opposite the pub, the statue in the middle of the village from the movie 30 yards from the front door and the hill where Maureen O'Hara and John Wayne cycled down directly outside the door of the pub, this was a wonderful visit and experience. I would also recommend The Quite Man Tour. The guide was excellent."
"Amazing food, I had the fish and chips which was a solid 10/10. The temperature was perfect and the chips were crispy and delicious. The sauces were high quality and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Great pint of Guinness after a walk around the abbey"
"This was a must-visit for my husband, but I’m super glad it was. The food was delicious. We both enjoyed steaks and mashed potatoes. Our server upstairs (Michelle?) was very friendly and provided a top-notch experience."
"Okay this place seems like someplace that is probably a tourist-trap, just famous for the film and so forth but it is actually EXCELLENT. Great service and one of our best meals on the entire holiday. It was delicious!"
