"How disappointing!! I ordered shredded beef which was beef in batter- Rock hard and I would guess re heated. It was so crispy and over done I could have broken a tooth. I could taste beef flavour but didn't see much beef. Average at best satay sauce. Tiny bowel of bland fried rice for 3 euro. First and last time, I won't be returning!"
"Just happened apon Tai Chi Court while out with a friend who was visiting the area. We were walk-ins without a reservation on a Thursday evening, the restaurant was empty when we arrived, we were joined in the restaurant by another table of 3 after about 20 minutes. The menu is good, offering a decent choice for starter and main courses. Service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant offers a takeaway service, which when we visited was very busy. Unfortunately this meant quite a wait for our order. When our starters arrived we were really impressed with the presentation and quality of the food. Really fresh, hot and extremely tasty! Our Main courses were again excellent, honestly some of the best Chinese food I've eaten in Ireland. I'm giving a solid 5 star food rating here, we're really lucky to have this place just 20 minutes away from home. We'll definitely be returning in the near future"
"Just ordered from Tai Chi court, regular customer. We ordered from the Special Set Dinner and got the ‘Dinner For 2 Persons’ meal. It cost €33 including delivery which we thought was good given what we were supposed to get (we even tipped the delivery driver). Order arrived and we were missing some of the food. The meal was supposed to come with a ‘House Special Platter For 2’ which we only received half of. Upon ringing back we were told we didn’t order that and it’s ‘not on the menu’ even though we were reading the menu out to them on the phone, bare in mind we only got the menu from the restaurant 2 weeks ago. We were told it wasn’t there menu we had even though it definitely was as shown in the picture. Got put on hold twice and hung up on once because the staff didn’t want to deal with the complaint. I have added photos of the menu proving what we ordered and showing what we should have gotten, we were missing 2 items off the house special platter and then were told they don’t come with it even though their recent menu states otherwise. Tai Chi has been our go to Chinese takeaway since we moved here and it has been good each time we’ve got it. Tonight, staff weren’t very helpful and the customer service was not friendly. I’m now sorry to say we won’t be returning again."
"Ate in as a family of four at 5pm this evening. Staff were lovely, friendly and attentive without being too there. The food was delicious and enough, four happy bellies! Even the picky teen loved it - result. Go and have a meal it's fabulous!"
