"Had the pleasure of visiting when in area just after re-opening in March. The staff present were beyond welcoming with excellent hospitality and table service along with a guided tour of the house which looks like a very attractive venue for special occasions."
"Richard and the staff were most welcoming. They have great knowledge or the history of the house and made our stay very personal. They old house has an authentic feel with lots of antiques and period furniture. You can see that the owner wants to preserve that feeling. Unfortunately we couldn't see the upstairs as it has to be renovated for fire safety. We stayed in the newer extension which has a lovely view of Newcastle woods. And was very comfortable. The area is quiet and even at breakfast there weren't too many people around but I found that added to our enjoyment because we felt right at home. Definitely Newcastle House is a great experience if you are interested in manor houses and woodlands. While the house and surrounds were beautiful, Richard and his son topped it off and they couldn't have been more accommodating."
"Richard is an absolute gentleman. He has looked after us so well whilst we stayed here. All his staff are very warm and welcoming. The facilities on site are a great bonus and if your lucky you might get a tour around the house too."
