"Great lunch here yesterday. As usual it was delicious (roast turkey and ham). I had the set lunch. The price was very reasonable indeed for the four courses. The service was brilliant - above and beyond. No detail was too small. I'm not in this neck of the woods often but each time I've been here visiting family in Ireland it's been fabulous. Highly recommended."

"Carvery is top class, the staff are lovely, and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed. They could however, have more staff working on the carvery some days, as it can get frustrating waiting for a long time to get served by one person when they should have at least two staff members on the carvery."

"Mr. Claffey and staff are usually very accomadating, haven't been in restaurant rooms or front food carvery deli area in past few months although and never saw the bedrooms areas. Also good for if need to stand in from the rain or waiting on a lift after work or off the bus from Dublin etc., they used to be very accomadating and didn't mind if purchased something or not while sat and watched TV on own or with others inside main door, always purchased something to cover expenses tho. Serves appropriate size portions of food and drink, also wheelchair and family friendly premises on the main street, without parking at back but usualy people will get parking across the road in front of other businesses in the three rows, i think."
