"We loved are time here! Great B&B host made you feel very welcomed, The breakfast was fabulous! room comfortably and spotless. Would highly recommend."
"One of the best B&B experience I've had so far! Our hosts Noel and Anne truly love what they do. They have such great personalities (cheeky humor too!) and their desire to make your experience memorable shows through their actions. As a solo traveler, I've subtly expressed a desire to meet other people. Noel right away offered to take a few guests and I to go and explore a historic passageway hidden in the middle of farmland. He took time out of his tea time break to show us this hidden gem! Anne actively figures out your needs and is extremely accommodating; the full Irish breakfast is well and beyond a full breakfast!! You will definitely not leave hungry. Noel and Anne makes you feel welcomed and at home; they are not shy from conversation and loves to know more about people and where they live. In terms of accommodation, my bed was en-suite with a toilet and walk in shower. The bed was very comfortable and outlets are available right next to the bed, which is a big plus. There is a separate dining room where you can have breakfast (tea and coffee available all day). There is also a living room area with two large armchairs and a fireplace for cold nights. Since Noel and Anne live in a separate home very close by to the B&B, the living room feels very private and it is a very good area to have lengthy night time conversations with other guests. In terms of location, Anne's B&B is incredibly accessible; it's located right next to the N5, which connects Westport to Longford (and then to N4, which goes straight to Dublin). In addition, Anne's B&B is minutes away from the Bus stop that takes you to Dublin. As for sightseeing, its location is incredibly central from the Rathcroghan archaeological sites (visitor centre is also a walk away), and it is very conveniently located if you wish to visit Boyle or Carrick-on-Shannon nearby. There is also a restaurant within walking distance that serves great food if you're interested in grabbing something close. Overall, I had a difficult time leaving Anne's B&B because I didn't' want to leave. It truly felt like a home away from home and I will never forget my experience here. Magical."
"I've stayed in b & b's through out England Scotland Wales and now in Ireland. Anne's is the third place in the area. I must admit this is by far the most friendly, welcoming and comfortable place I've stayed in. Nothing was too much trouble to Anne or Noel. I certainly rate this 10 out of 10 And will definitely stay here again."
"Ann and Noel are wonderfully friendly and accommodating hosts. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We spent a relaxing night, and enjoyed the meal and the pub across the street at O'Connors."
